Okay didn't see this mentioned but they changed the rules on battalions. Now if you can have the models you can have the battalion. Thoughts? This makes the 'meta' factions way better. (Those factions made up of multiple different armies, such as lethisian defender or Legion of Grief from forbidden power)

I asked about Warscroll battalions on the AOS community Facebook page and got a responce which was very much so a non-answer but it seems to me that might mean something coming with GHB2019 for rule changes on them. Quoted: My question: Question for those who would know, for the sake of special factions, can a list include warscroll battalions from the armies who are included as acceptable additions to the faction? Example: Can Lethisian Defenders included battalions from Stormcast Eternals, or for Legion of Grief include Shrieker Host as the Legion of Grief includes Nighthaunt in it. Their answer: Hi Adrienne, we don't have any details on that yet, but hopefully it'll become clear over the next few weeks.

So quick question about the lore, how long does it take to be reformed? Qnd the whole teleport via lightning can they just be like oh detachment of freshly reforged peeps head to the realm of beasts and they can just salute and pop over there? Or do they need a beacon of some sort to hop arround, also is it only one way aka can telly in but not back?

Is there any way I could squeeze in a Skink Starseer in this list, curse of fate seems like really helpful but the insights seems like if used well it could be very very powerful.

So I am new to the game but why doesnt large groups of frost sabers get used as the basis for Beastclaw lists? They do have rather crappy saves but two wounds seem nice for as cheap pointwise they are, and they seem pretty mobile to me and have at the worst fairly average damage for battle line units, and you can ambush them with the hunter general onto point objectives or for a really likely charge at only needing a 6 on that charge, of course needing the battalion for that. And then have the bigger more powerful units as more go kill enemies good stuff or their horses of stuff. Again a new player but the frostsaber with Hunter general seems decent for solving the biggest issue everyone here seems to have, the inability to contest objectives due to limited model count, which you can have more of than SCE for the same price 6 vs 5, though sequitors are definitely better troops.

If I find a sword do you think I could make a Sequitor into Gavriel? like they are definitely the closest. I fell semi alright with doing small conversions. I guess If I pick up the Sequitor box that would let me make a close to Gavriel with swords instead of maces, I might have to take a head from one of the Lord Arcanums. Should I only run one of them? I am thinking that is the right choice. Edits: With that added 10 Sequitors should I run 5 units of 5 or two units of 10 and a unit of 5? Also is there anything I can do with that second Lord Arcanum? Or will he just be bits?

Due to low funds I have chosen to grab two of the SCE halves of the Soul Wars box (it is costing me just over a hundred) and doing the math the two boxes (using complete units and no partial ones) comes out to 1760 points but that includes two of the Lord Arcanum on Gryph Chargers, which seems somewhat redundant and might be a bad use of 240 pts (though I don't know). How should I upgrade this I have like 60 dollars to work with and am fine with allies but more SCE is good for me. Also is three units of 5 Sequitors a good idea or should I work on more Battleline units to boost the unit sizes?

I really want to build a death soup army for fluff reasons but what is the best battle line out of death's options. I want to avoid chainrasps because they are the most expensive to buy but if they are a lot better that the rest will consider. Leaders, which are the big fluff point, is a Vampire Lord and then either a tomb banshee or Lady Olyvander (I spelt that wrong didnt I). Looking to return models to units so survivability is kinda important for that. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask it just seemed better to start here than making a new thread.
