  1. I mean, the setting was great but could also also be easily replicated in AoS if they wanted to. I figure they won‘t focus too much on side games set in TOW outside of the main game. I‘d be happy with either solution personally as long as the style is as gloomy as Mordheim‘s.
  2. I wouldn‘t use the narrative as a clear indicator who‘s the mightiest, just saying. Different authors use different constellations to hype various figures. There are different kinds of strength too so even between the same two heroes/villains the outcome could go either way, factor in the circumstances and it‘s a coin toss. I guess Kragnos is somewhere in the god-beast tier, I‘d argue gods outrank god-beasts but depending on circumstances god-beasts could slay gods. I guess the strongest gods would be very likely winners however but the same could probably be said about strong god-beasts. Either way, it‘s difficult to say anything concise. They‘re all strong but Kragnos has the ugliest face. 😋
  3. Well, I started in WHFB with Chaos and gravitated towards Tzeentch in time, mostly due to the artwork, the final nail in the coffin were Thousand Sons however. Magic wasn‘t actually a deciding factor. I liked their look instantly but what I liked even more was their background, where the Emperor falsely condemned them (back then the background was a bit different; now they (Magnus) are pretty much fools and destined to become traitors. I prefer the old way more however. everything else about Tzeentch, from lovecraftian themes to mutations to his capricious nature made it even better. I like a ton of armies however, even some Eldar and Aelfs! 😋 But I‘ll always be a loyal Tzeentchian (mostly due to me being too lazy)!
  4. I usually use varnish in between steps; like after using oils and the like. Bright metallic highlights I usually paint after varnishing, if the models are supposed to be reflective I don’t varnish them at all in the later stages for metals (it really dulls em down) or varnish clothes etc. by hand. It’s a slow process that way. Plastic minis are pretty forgiving even without varnish as the final layer in my experience, at least my current way has worked for me so far. I don’t think I’ve got chipped paint anywhere yet. Personally I haven‘t had any bad experience with an airbrush varnish, I certainly won‘t go back to rattle cans though after a bad experience. I use a lot more (and thicker!) varnish on scenery than on my army in general.
  5. No need to be sorry, you‘ve developed a wonderful taste in armies after your misguided aelf-youth! 😜
  6. If we go with actual songs, I think Master of Puppets is a safe (due to its title) but musically kinda unfitting choice for big T. Heard this one being suggested for like 15 years now. Personally, I can picture only a song by a "weird" band like Mr.Bungle to fit him, e.g. It's weird enough, ranging from almost melodic to heavy, transitioning between different styles/musical genres... it's not an easy listen number but hey, it's complex enough for a convoluted being. I picture talking to Tzeentch must feel like listening to that song for the very first time! Generally I tend to go more of classical or instrumental/orchestral music to convey moods. I think "Blood-starved beast" from Bloodborne e.g. would work well for an Ushoran battle. I've got a weird taste in music though (thanks. Mr.Bungle!) so I guess not many would like my picks. 😂
  7. https://ageofsigmar.lexicanum.com/wiki/Mordrek Thought I‘d share it as I immediately looked it up. Hmmm, perhaps this would be a wonderful idea for a conversion! 🤔🥰
  8. If we put them together now, it would go something like ID-BONE-TAU - Slaanesh confirmed!
  9. Geese of Höllenheim. It's just a team of very angry geese, hellbent on biting anyone that dares enter their turf. 🤙
  10. Just saw your post after I replied... oh yeah - and Imagine a model with a hulking stance like Ushoran but with more armor and tons of mutations breaking through his armor. It would be magnificent! Like Godrick the grafted but cool! It would kinda treat on Morghur's shtick tho... 🤔
  11. I think Aekold Helbrass would work well from a background perspective as his touch revived things so it would kinda work if he got revived himself. Egrimm Van Horstmann I'd like to see cause I think it would make for a sick triple kit for Chaos. Egrimm on Baudros, Galrauch and perhaps a generic Chaos Lord on Chaos dragon. But if I could revive anyone it would be Count Mordrek the Damned! He was like the almost Chaos spawn version of Gotrek, hoping for the sweet release of death but basically the Chaos gods didn't want him to die so he suffered mutation after mutation while retaining his sanity, which might have made things even worse for the poor sod. I also always loved Valnir the Reaper, who also got resurrected once before by Nurgle as Papa Nurgle loved him. I also always really liked Krell and Arbaal the Undefeated. Oh and another dude that definitely deserves a comeback is none other than Engra Deathsword IMO. The artwork is iconic, the design splendid, he was suddenly missing after his Everchosen was slain.... there's much that could be done with him! All of my picks are pretty darn unlikely but oh well, I hold them dear.
  12. Unless you are a dwarf, then not even that is in the cards for ya.
  13. Btw, imagine how terrifying a goose would be if you were a dwarf! 🤔 Not even the skies are safe anymore!
  14. This agent of change is an ill-tempered, foul and truly scary beast! Fun fact: in some prisons they use geese instead of guard dogs as they are fierce, extra-territorial guardians that cannot be negotiated with or bribed unlike doggos! I was hoping for cool armored sorcerer-warriors but a unit of angry geese might be actually even more what my army truly needed!!!
  15. Well, they said the same thing about final fantasy and now we got 16 of them!
  16. They‘ll definitely cry a second time if TOW gets DE again, although they could use them already. 🤭
  17. My Slaaneshi acquaintance in the cubicle next to mine read my screen and she reaaaally wants to meet you now. Sorry. If you are truly desperate, it might work out ok I guess? 😫
  18. You know, it‘s tremendously practical that your face is already at the perfect „height“ (or should I say altitude as height is such an elusive thing to you) to kiss my feathery posterior! 🫦
  19. He might not be minor, but perhaps a bit short! 🤭 Do those vertically-challenged Chaos midgets also write into their diary if someone was mean to them?
  20. Well, if a god got his own daemons, then he‘s too eldritch to appear on his own imo. But well, it‘s down to personal taste anyways. I just like that they are not directly represented. They are too far removed from let‘s say Greek gods to feel portrayable in that manner.
  21. Yes! For the love of all that is unholy, NEVER release any Chaos god model. NEVER EVER! 🙏 If they want to show them outside of art, make a statue/terrain or whatever but no actual mini of any Chaos god. It just cheapens them and brings them down to a demigod level. I‘m very opinionated on this issue. Chaos gods have no definite form and shape and they are unlike the mortal-turned-god gods in action, ability and behavior! (Not saying they are necessarily better here, just different). Kinda like the God-Emperor feels much different to say Sigmar. One you think you could go for a pint with, the other isn‘t really that close to a human.
  22. Try tall helmets like those pesky aelfs, perhaps then you won't be overlooked, you hobbit! 👺
