  1. If you want it, get it. If you don't want it, don't get it. I have no interest at all in Warhammer+ but for those who do, I hope you enjoy it.
  2. Middle Earth is 25mm (I think) so it's not too far off. I would think the scenery would scale pretty well.
  3. As above on the Dettol. I have used it on plastic and FW resin models to great effect. And available in a lot of countries.
  4. If they do a plush squig then I will probably have to get one. For my son. Not to hurl at my wife while shrieking "Da Bad moon spoke to me once!"
  5. No need for specualtion ladies and gents, this is obviously fake - they claim that GW is going to lower prices in Australia, New Zealand and Japan......
  6. I can't actually remember any particular rumour about that beyond people speculating that a "Great" Gnashtoof might mean there could be a "lesser" Gnashtoof. And people assuming that a like from Whitefang = confirmation of whatever. Pretty thin but it is rumours, I guess, not facts. Personally, I would really love to see some more Kruleboyz stuff but I fear that we've seen it all. For now.
  7. Glad to see Dragons but I definitely would have preferred more Kruleboyz instead. Oh well, gotta keep reminding myself that they're a subfaction of a Battletome and not a seperate entity.
  8. We've had one facebook post saying there are no more Kruleboyz to show off, one saying maybe and a Warhammer Community article with a "more Orruk news soon," sign-off sooooo...... anybody's guess. Personally, I would love some more Kruleboyz stuff but there is enough coming to keep me busy for a while.
  9. Love the new Draconiths. Massive improvement on the Stardrake, in my opinion. Wings don't look like they were just stuck on at the end. If there is new Stormcast on Drake cavalry and they look anything like these then I might be tempted.
  10. I am fully intending to base everything on rounds and get movement trays. Chaos at least seems likely to be useable in both systems so I get more bang for my buck.
  11. Those poor people who burned their armies when AOS launched..... I actually find myself significantly less invested in the Old World narrative because I know how it ends. Probably won't stop me getting in to it though - I miss rank and file. It just had such a cool feel.
  12. It's very much what I had in mind for mine so thanks. Looking forward to seeing some more.
  13. They look great. What colour did you use for the skin? Looks a little darker than the GW scheme.
  14. The sloth-croc (slothodile??) is growing on me but I am not a huge fan of the named dude on top... probably going to go generic build for him. Looking forward to seeing what else is coming.
  15. Spent the day trying (in vain) to put a dent in the backlog before I get Dominion in my hands. Looking at slow delivery times in Australia as a silver lining to give me a little more time.
  16. I got my pre-order without any dramas but it is sooooooo expensive. Wiped out my hobby budget for the next few months. For anyone who hasn't got their My Warhammer account sorted - do it before hand! It was a requirement for me and it puts you in que before you login so you don't want to spend your ten minute window sorting that out first. Fingers crossed for all out there looking for a copy but you can still pre-order on the Australian site without a que two hours after launch so hopefully supply is not too short.
  17. Looking good and looking forward to seeing the rest - there are some brilliant models in the box.
  18. I'd definitely like more Troggoths - they're going to be the link between my Kruelboyz and my Gloomspite. More monsters in general would be good. A bunch of swamp monsters always improves things.
  19. I wonder if we will get a unit of Grot's with the Kruleboyz? Non-hob ones. Kinda on the fence about it actually. On balance I think I would prefer just the odd Grot here and there in Kruleboyz and full units stay part of Gloomspite.
  20. Loving the Kruleboyz, hit and miss on the Stormcast for me. Not a fan of the Primaris treatment and I dont see the need for the range. These look kinda like the design for Aelf or Duardin version of Stormcast, which would have been a lot better, in my opinion. I do love the chariot though.
  21. Appreciate the question and the answer. I have been trying to prioritise my painting as well - started with rats and bats because that seemed like a pretty safe bet. Looks like I will have to paint it all or play it grey.
  22. The more I think about it, the less likely a copyright ssue seems to me. They still have the website up and they are still selling the novel so there can't be any problems with the plot or characters and they have most of the races and factions covered by their own copyrights. I don't know much about copyrights though so it's always possible. Just seems odd. My guess is good old-fashioned supply issues that extend beyond GW's control (i.e - they don't know when the problem can be fixed) and GW's deliberate aversion to open communication. Unfortunately, GW are the only one's who know for sure and they have chosen to stay silent. Until they decide otherwise we may never know exactly.
  23. Honestly, the new Stormcast aren't really doing it for me but it is early days still. Silver lining is that I'm not feeling an immediate need to get the starter set and the grey mountain of shame has no chance to increase. Whatever new adversary is in there could change that pretty quickly though.
  24. Radukar is the standout for me but that "now who might be building those?" line has got me pretty excited. I am falling into the classic GW trap of getting wrapped up in one (potentially meaningless) little line of text and reading way too much into it. It's not normally something I do. I'm enjoying it. . So much damage done with so few words, GW.
  25. I managed to get a copy through my FLGS so I have been feeling pretty optimistic throughout all of this confusion but upon seeing the Radukar the Beast reveal today my immediate thoughts were - "that's what could have been." There is no reason to believe that the release was ever intended for Cursed City or even related to Cursed City but it just goes to show how the lack of communication has affected my feelings around these things. Even a clear cut message to say that no, there will not be any expansions to the game would make me happy. Even if it's not the answer I was hoping for. Still getting that model though. And will probably homebrew some rules to make it work. It's far too cool not to. And kinda fixes the issue a lot of people have about Radukar not being quite big bossish enough.
