  1. That's my take as well: Chorfs as the big release, Kurnothi accompanying them, as a Sylvaneth supplement. But ofc that's wild guessing on my part.

  4. Great reveal. I even like the Marines. But let’s cut to the case. Those Ironjaws look like real winners to me. What a range… . Ardboys successfully distinguish themselves from brutes and looks absolutely stunning doing so! Now. If only one could swap the grunta pigs into ones that look like the big pig. Trogg makes me wanna play troggs is all I can say to that marvelous beast. Warcry Box doesn’t have a single bad model, which is also chef‘s kiss! what else? Fulgrim is a banger! And those underworld demons are a treat!
  5. That Big Boss looks perfect. Hopefully that will cement the Ardboys as the rank & file of Iron Jaws, with Brutes and those weirdos looking special rather than common. Now, if *only* we would get new Goregruntas. Or more specifically, new pigs besides the big piggy. The riders all look mighty fine, but gosh those boars... . Especially now that the magnificent super-pig was teased.
  6. I think whatever they do, they should do it with more courage. I'm fine with shelving Bonesplitters & making Ironjaws & Kruleboys their own thing (Brutal but Kunnin' vs Kunnin' but Brutal). But I'd also be fine with an actual "Orruks Warclans" book that has *no* split anymore but rather the warlord decides the direction the army goes (again brutal but... etc. see above). So the warlord lets you chose a set of special rules that are then your army rules but you can actually mix and match your dudes as you see fit. That could leave some Bonesplitters in the book, albeit without a proper general. So no third army rules option. Personally I'd like them to take route number 2, but given how different Kruleboyz and Ironjaws look, I expect it to be route number one.
  7. My guess is that they will split Ironjaws & Kruleboys come 4th Ed, and jusr forget to upgrade Bonesplitters ;).
  8. Let’s just accept the fact that Sigmar made Stormcast out of *all* the tailors in the mortal realms and beyond, just to ****** 3 grand alliances off.
  9. I'd expect kits at the higher end of what's possible for the simple reason that there is an almost gigantic gap between how FEC are described (to behave etc.) and how they look on the field. They have a very strong identity but it doesn't show at all. Unlike in instances where kits are just old, updating the range is imo a necessity to sell FEC as a complete package. So 8 kits sounds good to me. They are also heavily featured in Harbingers so I expect their release to rival Cities to some degree.

  15. I think the magic phase of AoS has much more to it than the PSI Phase of 40k ever had (slight exaggeration). But as the AoS team doubles down on magic, I don't see that go away. But I would very much like for foot heroes to join units. That's one of the better aspects of 10th edition so far.
  16. All true - but I'm happy that "Order" is structured that way. I love how good intentions and horrible failures are dancing a tango for two here.
  17. I took an AoS break to play & build some 40k, and I have to admit, that while 40k makes me build an army (and that’s it), AoS makes me want to tell stories. New CoS. The Blacktalons. Converting the special lady to a marshall on „lion headed gryphon“, that rumored troll, a giant… . The game has a lot going for it and feels very fresh.
  18. Human centric is also totally fine. I - and I think I'm not alone in this - just don't want the other races removed. Heck, I'm satisfied with some conversion sprues so I can add the odd elf or dwarf (or halfling etc.) to my army. Imo that's also more of a testament on how good the new cities stuff is.
  19. Exactly my idea. I have the Ulfenkarn dudes waiting for the new Cities Stuff & will certainly use some of them as heroes in my army. But neither of those are from the dark elf or dwarf factions that are still in the book. And while I can always field the wood elf lady (she's an outcast after all) I'd be even more excited for some "City elves" or "city dwarves". I can acknowledge that the cities needed a good human base first. So if the corsair types get their makeover with AoS 4.0 (or the dwarves) I'm fine. Really, the only thing that may not happen is that the elves & dwarves faction(s) get squatted. I love CoS precisely for other races being present. Heck, I'd be down for mixed races regiments as well. Anything that keeps the flavor of a melting pot of cultures, races and ideas.
  20. I like the prospect of miniatures to come. And oh boy do i want Arika Zenthe in there as well. Give me all of them! Story so far is good. Smaller in scope than Broken Realms - but I prefer it that way!
  21. I would love for a unit of dwarves or two to expand on the cities book next time around. Same goes for elves. Both of those could be closer to classical fantasy - but with a cities twist.
  22. Shame. I liked the Idea of Kurnoth coming back sooner rather than later. But maybe there still is something there. His Shard stalk Ghoul Mere, I think. So maybe… .
  23. Was the Summer King mentioned somewhere in more detail? Because when I read „Summer King“ & empty settlements on the Hammerhaml Gyhra side, *and* reminded myself that woodelves will not be in the new army book… . I instantly thought of the return of Kurnoth.
