[The Azyrocopter II - Knight-Azyros]

I really like the idea of using a gyrocopter as an Azyros-proxy.  Yours looks very good also 🖕

I don`t know for sure. but I guess it took me around 3 weeks to paint 30 of them. I made 60 at once and for some my girlfriend made the basing. So it is difficult to say

I indeed used the GW paint range for those models. For the skin it`s "Ratskin Flesh" as base color, layered with "Flayed One Flesh" and then a wash with "Reikland Fleshshade" on top. Pretty easy to pull of and nothing too complicated

I made them simply from Styrofoam. Just cut them with a cutter and paint them afterwards. It`s really easy. I got the idea from these videos. There are in german but it should be clear how to do it

At the moment I just plant to extend the Free People. There is still a lot to paint which i already have here. A Steam Tank for example, or some Demigryph knights. Proxies for teh general on horse and a lot of normal infantry.

They look awesome.  I think in a right set up, these guys can be really good. They are cheap for an elite troop, especially when you take 30 of them. Keep em close and use the +1 to save trait to survive longer at 3+ save/ give them griffons ability +1 to hit for combat, so you are potentially looking at 61 attacks 2+/ 3+/ -1/ 1.  They can be pretty nasty 😉

You can also give them wildform with an ambermage to get them down to 2+/2+/-1/1. I think they rellay can do some work.

I really like those packs. Lots of fun animals to play around with. Used to use the racoon from the same pack as a marker for battleshock immunity and still use the tortoise for mystic shield.

Thanks for the link man. Will order some for my freeguilds soon. There could definitely be some more diversity in their ranks. Do you know other sides to order heads for use with free peoples?
