I don't think that's true at all. They showed off Orruk Warclans and the new Ogor Tyrant in July during the open day and Warclans didn't get released til October and Mawtribes got released November.

I've been using this as my newbie starter list for a bit, any thoughts on where to go from here? I'm not super competitive but interested to see where the list can improve and what new stuff I should buy. In addition to these I have a Khorgorath, Mighty Lord of Khorne, Gorebeast Chariot, a Bloodstoker, and 6 more Chaos Warriors. Should I be aiming for a Skull Altar and some Daemons for summoning? Been eyeing the Khorne half of the Wrath and Rapture box too.

Kinda surprised there's no Death stuff at all, but they do mention Chaos Mortal subfactions at the end. Hoping for maybe a mixed-god Mortals subfaction!

The Eltharion model is probably my favorite new model in a long time. And the Lumineth Realm-lords look like very classic elves haha, I bet a lot of WHFB would like the aesthetic

Not a bad bet since it would make sense for the KO hero in the box to make the Endrinriggers battleline

Looking at the box we're getting 1 Endrinmaster with Dirigible Suit (?) 6 Endrinriggers/Skywardens ($80) 1 Gunhauler ($50) 1 Magister on Disc of Tzeentch (?) 3 Screamers ($35) 6 Skyfires/Enlightened ($80) Depending on the prices of the new heroes, I think that's one of the more evenly-priced boxes we've gotten. If the new heroes are in the $35-$40 range, the box seems to be about the same value as Feast of Bones (assuming it keeps its $195 price point)

Damn January! That’s really soon, but most of us definitely expected these updates at some point in 2020 though and now it’s just Seraphon remaining. Really interested in taking a look at Tzeentch. Also there was a KO fan here who was adamant KO were getting left in the dust and not gonna get updated. Well looks like a mini Christmas miracle for them!

I believe just a clarification on Glades on warscrolls that already have Glades, but I'm not 100% sure if that change is specific to a different translation

Right, but that's NOT the same thing with the issues we're seeing right now. The issues we're seeing right now are front-end website issues, which they haven't had before despite updating multiple documents at the same time. It's clear that the issues we're seeing are unintentional.

Who's suggesting that this is how GW is doing it from now on? You really think that they're expecting people to look through the 40k section for AoS FAQs and erratas? Considering in the past they've updated these before without issue, it's probably just a bug or some wires got crossed in this specific update. A mistake.

Yeah that's almost assuredly the case. It's certainly a weird way of them getting ready to release them, but they're not ACTUALLY expecting everyone to scrounge through different languages to find the updates

Looks like the links are still the same but they're slowly being updated to the new files so if anyone has the old links, maybe try em out and just check if the header says December 2019 haha

Looks like the FAQs/Erratas are about to release like in a few minutes, the FAQ page just took down the sections for a bunch of armies that I think coincide with what they said were going to get points updates.

I would assume that because they're separate sources they would both stack, but I'm not sure what the commentary for the Orruks said.

Yep when you Mark, those units act as if they have the Khorne keyword so things like the Bloodsecrator abilities will work on them

You can go on the GW site and go to each unit's page and click on "Downloads" and the link for the warscrolls will be there

Yeah the Protection and Favours only work on STD mortals now, no non-STD units which is a bummer.
