  2. You are right, but the main problem is that I still can't see my troops until ship is crashed. I play barak-urbaz with only one transport ship with big unit of thunderers and 2 heroes. Everything else are gunhaulers and skyriggers. So most of the time I can't use 40-50% of my rules. Ofc if you really like sky squadron battalion/zilfin/admiral with command trait your formula will work, but don't you think that this is abit too restrictive? How is this connected. Even if my units can score when they inside I still would like to disembark them for more dmg. The main difference is that they more tanky inside and more deadly outsoutside. Unit of 20 thunderers and 2 heroes inside huge ship sitting on the point and doing nothing to protect it. This is what breaks immersion for me.

And still I would like to see your opinion about question above. Just tell me then. Why ship is scoring but it's crew is not? Why models inside building - scoring but when they inside ship - not?   5. Normally you can't after you move the ship. What logic?) Our ship is flying only when it's moving. Then it stays still it can flow not so hight above the point. So I can't see any reason (other then balance) that can stop models in garrison or ships crew from scoring.
  6. For me it's not about punishment or reward. It's just rule construction. You always must remember so many little nuances... And the only one thing that I can consider as BAD is that we can't score when our units are in the ship. So 1 ogor count as more models then fully loaded ironclad. (which is so stupid to be honest)
  7. I'm happy with alot of things that is in the book, but you must admit that almost every our option have some restrictions. You can take Skyriggers as bl but with 220pt hero You can take thunderers as bt but only in barak-nar You can take frigates as bt but only in barak-zilfin You can take gunhaulers as bt but only in barak-urbaz You can have +1 tohit for thunderers but only outside of the ship You can have +1 attack for thunderers but only outside of the ship You can give -1 tohit for fumigator but only outside of the ship Alchemist can buff your troops but only outside of the ship Admiral command abilities useful only then he is in the ship You can use garrison rule but can't score when using it And I even not including aethergold and skyports restrictions I was lucky that my fav skyport (urbaz) let me take my fav ship (gunhaulers) as battleline in my fav battalion (escort wing) But I can imagine how frustrating it could be for someone who was not so lucky Plus another problem is that we have too many deploy choices right now.

  10. Yes, you can. But probably each unit you put inside your ship will be separate deploy.
  11. You can take Vulkites for 4 KO units and Smiter as Ally.

  13. Maybe my gunhaulers was broken but with drill I deal 5-6 wounds each round. 3 mw on 5+ tohit and rend -3 is very dangerous.
  14. Navigator could take one use pistol. If you hit enemy unit with it your troops reroll tohit rolls if they attack that unit.

  16. So... I have played 2 games today. 1 Against SCE (I won 12-5) 2 Against Slaanesh with Archaon (I was tabled, but only because of my mistakes) First game Scorched earth Long story short. My opponent use 6 birds and 2 squads of liberator as a screen for big shooty unit and heroes. On turn one I kill all birds and 1 unit of liberators so my opponent can't destroy my points. Stormcasts shoots 2 times in my Ironclad and fail 6 towound rolls from 6 (3+ with reroll 1s, lol) SCE gets double turn and kills my Ironclad and some thunderers (alot of them actually) In return I was able to kill 1 more squad of liberators, knight azyros, 2 more guys and burn 2 of his objective markers (plus scoring all of mine) On turn three SC failed to charge my gunhaulers and we call it a game because even if he will table me he can't get the same amount of points. Second game I made 2 mistakes that cost me a game 1) I decide to attack flying Keeper instead of Archaon 2) I disembark thunderers and think that you can't embark them if there's enemy models within 3 inches of the ship. My thunderers doesn't do anything for 2 rounds and Archaon tables me) But after the game I can bet that I could kill Archaon and 1 keeper on the right flank. Right now I feel like 20 thunderers with full tohit and towound rerolls can easily kill any 1 model unit on turn 1 and our movement abilities could be very frustrating for your opponent.
  17. If you rename Chaos dwarf they can be easily included under order banner. Destruction more focused on... destruction then creating.
  18. 4 canons, 1 mortar, 4 sweepers, 1 fumigator. 4 mortars if you know that you can survive long enough to use +1 attack bonus.

This model and any models in its garrison can still shoot if this model retreats in the same turn, as long as there are no enemy units that can fly within 3" of this model at the start of the retreat move and there are less than 10 wounds allocated to this model at the start of the retreat move.
  20. Yes we can. Unless there is flying enemy unit within 3 inches from the ship.
  21. Both choices are viable. But your roster will play differently. Ironclade better for aggressive alfastrike tactic, frigates for more board control. IMHO
