  1. See, I've seen the arguement, that they have the alleigance of the batallion but there's nothing saying you get only one alleigance on a unit. Tzaangor get Tzeentch and Beasts of Chaos as an example Also, unless I'm really blind, the quoted FAQ is no longer present? At least not in the AoS app FAQ document?
  2. No FAQ needed, it has the KHORNE keyword, that's all you need to join a Blades of Khorne army. Same as Maggotkin of Nurgle is just the NURGLE keyword or Disciples of Tzeentch is just the TZEENTCH keyword. That's why you can include things like Slaves to Darkness models in the army directly
  3. Yes, they don't count as Allies as they had the God keyword. So your allegiance is Blades of Khorne and therefore you can include a Brass Despoilers formation as all the models gain the KHORNE keyword. Means you don't get a Herdstone, the choice of a Great Frey, any ambush abilities etc. However the members of the Brass Despoilers get any allegiance abilities of Blades of Khorne
  4. That'd be cool if added as a fifth Mark of Chaos, the Horned Rat
  5. Personally I'm using some Gorebeast Chariots for mine, partially because I've been able to get some cheaply, partially because the Gorebeast is an amazing model and partially because my "theme" is a Knightly Order of Nurgle pledged Beastmen
  6. No, units of 6 to make them easier to buff with your Shoggoth. With a cunning mix of Saraus warrior and maurauder you could also build some Bestigor or Gors which are lizard legs and human torsos to fit into the army theme
  7. So, building an Order of the Flies themed army, mixing in Chaos Warrior, Knights and Chariot models to keep the feel of a bestial knightly order (as Gors/Bestigors, Centigors and Razigor Charriots) How could I convert some of the larger models into the army?
  8. I'm keen to see how this works out, as I've wanted to an army based on the Order of the Fly, using a mix of Chaos Warrior and Beastmen parts
  9. He's said Tabletop Simulator, which is a relatively well known sandbox and then used Community Mods for the armies, and tables.
  10. Nope, WarhammerFest for me, less hassle than London!
  11. Third this! It's why I gave up spending too much time looking at CV's when hiring, and instead went straight to phone and f2f interviews.
  12. As much as I'd love to, sadly my career has moved beyond entry level jobs
  13. I'm pretty happy with the set and the ruins. The tough call will be whether to paint ruins for the lava side or the vines side. I'm leaning towards vines and then using the old walls / fences kit to make up a small remenants of a farm, over grown and maybe the tombs as well. I'd also consider columns to cover the plaza with a domed roof
  14. I think a yearly funding drive to try and build up enough to cover a year's costs would be a good idea. There's plenty of approaches to handle that, and you can also open up "fund a feature" point when it becomes relevant. As for adverts, personally I'd include them, and offer a £1 to 2 a month subscription to remove them. Particularly if they sit as a row in the middle of forum posts for non subscribers
  15. Loving this army, very nifty conversions all around. Worth noting that on the Stormfiends bodies, Felwater Troggoth arms work a treat if you want a more natural type of Rat Ogre, the scales can easily be scabby skin patches. Looking forward to what comes next
  16. Not sure that they do, FW makes the miniatures but without a Battletome, or similar, then it's up to the player to decide just what their Legion of Azgorh actually represnts. One concept is simply Dispossesed who tunnelled too deep into the earth and awoke foul entities who taught them secrets of forging their war machines. Another might be that they're a group of Khadron who were banished for pushing their inventions too far
  17. Faction wise, I think we need to see something more closely associated with the Realms themselves, something a little more supernatural than we've seen so far, without leaning towards too close to the others. Maybe something elemental, an embodiment of the various realms.
  18. This is looking very promising, maybe Man O War remade, maybe on reflection an RPG?
  19. Yup, basically it's all the pages and then allows you to use a saddle stiched layout, so it can lie flat
  20. In terms of Pink Horrors, if you miss the fact that each spell is only meant to be cast once, you can easily dominate your opponent by shutting down their casting attempts, whilst always ensuring your own are successful by sheer number of dice rolls. One option to limit things further is to have failed casting rolls inflict a wound on the caster, or inflict a wound if a double is rolled.
  21. Random question, any chance the next version could be a page count divisible by 4? Looking to get a couple of copies printed and most print options work best if that's the case.
  22. For Bravery what about a roll at the end of the game turn, anyone within 12" of your Leader tests against the Leader's Bravery, otherwise on their own Bravery. You pick which models flee. Model count cumulative rather than what has died that turn
  23. I'm all for the inclusion of a Mordheim style skirmish game, but I'm not sure the General's Handbook is the place to include this. That said, as a prelude to this, can we see either points per model, or halve the unit sizes on most things, so that we get more flexibility in building warbands. Path to Glory is in need of balancing work, the power scale between different warbands makes it very difficult to have fun games when some armies get involved. They also feel just a little bit too large, and would benefit from being bought down in side. Summoning would benefit from a tweak to reflect that you aren't guarenteed to get the points into play. Either alter it, so that the allocated points represents the maximum amount you can have in play at any one time, or give a slight reduction in the points cost or a boost to the unit model count.
  24. Not true, they get quarterly briefings on upcoming releases, broad strokes on various products and so on. What you'll find is that most give off an impression of knowing ****** all because they're good employees and know how to keep confidential information secret.
