  1. Afraid by this way of balancing too. That was heavily the case for necrons in 40k, for example.
  2. I confirm. And Gaunt Summoner isn't Arcanite anymore. If you really want to run GOS, you'll probably have to play with at least 2 Arcanites heroes (Magister on disc should be one of the better choices) Hard to know if the issue is too big. We will see.
  3. It's only one lore spell per wizard (excepting special rules, of course)
  4. Don't forget the Fluxmaster. His new spell seems to be a must have in a GOS build.
  5. And Host Duplicitous ? Pink + Chaos spawn summoners (Kairos + magister) could still be a solid base.
  6. Found the answer myself. Blue scribes and changeling were just FAQed, So, a leader that is "named" is supposed to be mentionned on his warscroll Sorry for the "useless" question !
  7. Hi all Maybe a stupid a question about named leaders but... how to know if a leader is a named one ? For Kairos for example, it is clearly mentionned on his warscroll but not for the blue scribes one (for example) Why Fluxmaster shouldn't be a "named" leader and "blue scribes" would be ? "Blue scribes" are "unique" but "curseling" too and I understood he is'nt a named leader. How am i supposed to do the difference ? What am I missing ?

  9. In fact, you don't really expect to summon 3 LOC but 2. If i well understood, almost 12 spells afford you to summon consistantly a LOC turn 1 and a second one turn 3

  12. In fact I'm complaining a bit because destiny dices were for me Tzeentch signature. I would prefer to have only 1 or 2 allegiance(s) ability(ies) (instead of 4) and keep my main "DD combos". I find the mechanic a bit sick (and unintuitive) now. Initially (in the first book) Mastery of magic was probably designed to make combos with DD Same issue with Pink battleshocks. I agree with that was superstrong, but the design seems a bit "Meh" now (IMO) It sounds to me as you could'nt use your shoes for walk anymore, but saying It's still ok because you can use it as a kind of gloves But i'm not complaining at all about the general power level of the book.

  15. Don't worry for the hits, there is the loss of daemon keywords with tzaangors, the DD nerf. Some players find the new horrors weaker than before because they lost the ability of "summoning blue anywhere" and because they can't cast a lore of change spell anymore. (But the "nerf of pinks" isn't a consensus because they also win some things) Don't forget that DOT were "tier 3" before the battletome. Some help was needed (and we had some, maybe too much :D)
  16. Plus i wonder why make the DD to be unmodifiable if you can't use them to avoid malus. In this case, I really really think designers should write that DD are considered as unmodified rolls (and can't be reroll) but not that they can't be modified. That would solve all DD issues with no FAQ needed (and would be more intuitive)
  17. In fact, i won't be surprised if there would be a new core book in less than one year. It's pure (and probably useless) speculation but most of the battletomes which have been released before the V2 (and the current core book) have their new battletome now 😜 For now,i think we just need to know if DD of 1 works with pinks battleschocks
  18. Update the core rules is dangerous as it could interact with all other battletomes and could potentiallty create a lot of issues. That's maybe(or not) the reason why DD didn't choose to do that.
  19. Honestly, I'm afraid by the fact DD cannot be modified create issues and unintuitive complications for no solid reasons. I wouldn't have to explain/mention in every games i will play the hundred FAQ which could be released because of that. I would like to play with many kinds of players without having to say "No, I'm not cheating, It's written in the FAQ number 2634" Tzeentch players have already suffer too much from that with the old battletome, i think a lot of Disciples were hoping the new battletome would fix these kind of issues. Oh, and I didn't want to complain, I find the battletome interesting and really appreciated the work, but juste a little concerned by "logistic problems"
  20. In fact i don't understand why they wanted no modifier at all. Why couldn't I benefit a +1 to hit on a DD roll for example ? (Am I missing something ?) I think they should have made DD to be considered as a "natural/unmodified" roll which coud be modified after (as a "normal roll")
  21. I think the main issue from the beginning is the DD wording "unmodified roll" have a lot more consequences than intended.

  23. My reading is destiny dices can summon a guild of summoner except if Kairos rolls a modified 1 when he tries to cast a pink horror spell Tzeentch won, we will spend our entire lives on this question
