  1. Rather than bi-annual points adjustments, GW really just need to rewrite bad warscrolls. I would gladly pay 400 points for a Mourngul when it had a 3+ unrendable save with its own 4 up wound shrug. But by lowering the cost GW can "fix the imbalances" which in turn just ends up with players needing to buy more models. It's predatory and why I rarely if ever buy GW stuff anymore.

Do you guys thnik we´ll get a start collecting next month? I was thinking on buying some stuff since we didn´t get a battleforce..

I am almost 100% sure they will get a box soon. Depending on the Broken Realms book they are in. They seem to be doing that for all the armies included.

Battleforces 2020 confirmed in today‘s warhammer community article

    Death: OBR for sure
    Order:  Lumineth possibly?
    Chaos: Slaanesh
Destruction: BCR box with 3 stonehorns and the underworlds hunter with 4-8 new sculpt frost sabres?

  4. Well had my first game today. 2k points against Nurgle. It wasn't even close. I had Teclis, Avalenor, Cathalar, 2x10 Wardens, 2x20 Sentinels, and Hyshian Twinstones.
-Teclis 4 casts on 10, ALWAYS.
-Avalenor giving -1 to hit stacking with Shining Company is gross.
-Total Eclipse may be the best spell that exists right now.
-Being able to take something from 10 bravery down to 7 (absorb despair and voice of the mountains) is insane. Then pushing your losses onto them can make huge amounts of horde run away. I was using aetherquartz in every phase I could just to spread out the bravery debuff.

I can see Syar getting the nerf in the big faq. Double aetherquartz did so much work for me.

  5. What if, alongside some bravery de-buffing updates we get, we had rules kind of like Slaanesh but in reverse: "At the start of the combat phase, roll a dice for each enemy model within 3" of a friendly unit, add 1 (or 2) to the roll if it's a NIGHTHAUNT hero rolling, if the roll beats the enemy's bravery characteristic they must retreat instead of fighting in combat".

What MW spam? Honest question here. MW spam seems like a meme. There isn't much army tier MW generation around. The highest  volume is probably LRL but the MW they do is generalyl the totality of their dmg.

But also the only vulnerable models to MW are Kings(cloud of midnight) and Volturnos both of which have an easy defence against all ranged MW generation.

I'm always shocked to see the direction AoS gamers have gone since the inception of AoS. The game is so much more safe than it was back in the day and yet everyone wants more safety.

Maybe its just me, but I seem to come across a lot of MW. Warp Lightning Cannons in particular. But magic armies like Tzeentch pump out a ton of mortal wounds.

The problem is tye double turn and not the shooting. Maths show how ranged units are overcosteds vs melle units when we do the ratio damage done per poins of every unit.

But double turn double the damage of rangued units while dont do the same for melles.

In my opinion the fix is easy:

-remove doubleturn as maaaaaaaaaaany people hate it

-or put the same alternate activate units that we have in melle but in shooting but this wont do anything if the enemy havent shooting

I love the double turn. If it didn't exist AoS would just be fantasy 40k, which would turn me away easily since 40k is boring.

Ah I see, I was playing around with the Warscroll builder and it let me pick 4, i guess its not updated yet.

Is there any negative of running 4 single shark units? seems like it would give more flexibility, but 2 units of 2 is also something i could do.

Im still new to AoS so I dont understand the benefit of having a unit of 3 vs having 3 single units (for example) if there is no points saving

Some units get a discount if you use more. Some you want to use more so they survive and alpha strike. With sharks (and most deepkin units) I would think using min units would be better. Forgotten Nightmares means your opponents can only shoot the closest unit, and in this shooting meta, that is a huge benefit.

Is anyone else just purely hyped for 3.0 based on the fact that with a new BT comes the chance at new models for each Faction? I'm not even talking about the Sons but every other Faction in general!!

I'm eagerly awaiting some kind of "households" for Nighthaunt. I cannot fathom why they didn't get them after DoK and IDK came out earlier with them. All I can come up with is Stormcast stole them since they have a ton. I want a new Nighthaunt tome but I fear if they come out as the first wave book again they will be left in the dust immediately.
