I’ve got a couple of old armies (Brets and VC) that I’m leaving as is, rebasing like 120 poorly painted skellies has no appeal at all. I bought a load of DE for a song from a bring and buy about 18 months ago and have been slowly painting them in preparation, just a few crossbow left to paint before 2000pts are ready. That will be my go to list for a while. My new ToW army is Khemri, got the big box and a couple of each plastic release so far, and MTO chars on the way. Missing a screaming skull and tomb scorpions, but will take me another year to paint the list so no rush lol

Tried it. Outside of very specific situations, it doesn’t work. It takes up multiple feet of board space, it can’t manage terrain at all, it cannot wheel worth a damn, it gets in the way of the rest of its army, it can’t defend itself against multiple chargers. It looks fantastic in 1 unit vs 1 unit mathhammer, but that’s not how armies and army construction works. If you’re daft enough to feed it one unit at a time then sure it’s effective, but it has no way of enforcing that. Much more likely is it’s lack of manoeuvre is taken advantage of and it gets multi charged to hell - where the chargers also have the advantage of ranks, multiple close order bonuses and enough numbers to prevent FBIGO too.

Doko, how many games have you played so far? It must be loads considering you have got such established opinions, tier lists etc.
