I've gone on about enough but I really would like our vampires to feel like they used to, legion of blood updates in wd went a little way towards this. They are just so meh, mind you can anyone tell me if chaos lords are any good theses days?

Probably won't amount to anything though It will also be interesting to see if the warscroll alludes to any other changes for Soulblight in the future, I believe there was a subtle change to the hunger on the latest Warcry vampires warscroll?

It won't make it go any faster as such but if you can't remember special rules an attack might have (after to hit and wound rolls), I still find it best to roll the dice then worry about it. There's always a chance you or your opponent will fluff the roll, so reading what would have happened is rendered null and moot anyway.

Yep, there's definitely more mileage in the tank for future death releases all the new vampires have looked really good now we've gotten past the bald phase. I still think the vamps need a bit more attention warscroll wise and vampiric powers should have made a comeback! Will pick him and his accompanying book up for sure though.

It technically has to happen at some point. Which is depressing given how overboard the first 2 were and the fact they decided to absolutely curb stomp the entire death faction (from a lore perspective) to show how good the pointy ears are! Not that I'm a disgruntled death player...

Haha I'll be reading the battletome tonight then! As others have said Vampire Lord on nightmare and allowing their command ability to work on Bloodknights would be fantastic. Vampiric powers may be a bridge to far but we can dream right?

I may be so set in what command traits and artefacts I choose that I forgot some even exist but on the warscroll builder I could swear there's a couple of new ones added. Kastelai seem to have Bloodsaints shield which I honestly do not remember whatsoever from the battletome, unless it is that bad!

There's so much stuff with the new edition I haven't even got my head round yet, +1 damage spell on Vhordrai on the charge makes our MVP for my money.

I don't think there's much to entice to people in to do it. We have Vhordrai, Manfred, Neferata, VLOZD and at a push Nagash. All monsters all benefit from Soulblight Gravelords keyword, I suppose it's more if you already have a Mega-gargant model, then you probably would want to fit it in somewhere. Given the options we have, I wouldn't be going out of my way to purchase one to put in a soulblight force.

So other than very limited access to high rend (which is something not many other people seem to value) we do have a great army for 3.0. Also can anyone who has put the coven throne together some me from wasting money and tell how easy it would be to get rid of the vampires currently on it and replace with the new vampire lord stepping down or Prince Duvalle with his foot on the cauldron? I’m probably looking at paying someone to do it properly but just wondered on the feasibility. Another quick point... I’m assuming after everyone lost their minds Petrifex Elite will not be able to benefit from all the +1 to armour save stuff that coming?

Do the crimson court gain the relevant dynasty traits for the army you take them in?
