  1. They don’t, only 4chan rumour poster read the forum and take some of Neverchosen ramblings and that how we get a lot of nonsense on this forum
  2. Umm No they are talking about the AoS 3.0 launch, didn’t read the report quote huh? Glad it was an improvement from Soul Wars
  3. Link CONSOLIDATED PROFIT & LOSS ACCOUNT (games-workshop.com) Sales are up again Royalties went up a lot this year Staff bonus making a Community Outreach team Brexit causing additional Freight and shipping cost Relevant AoS news So Rumors of Dominon failing sales is not true according to them. probably the Nexon game
  4. Or just change the coherency rule from 6 to 10 so at least a min size of ten infantry model with 1 inch reach can all attack without breaking coherency
  5. Yeah it should be noted that 2021 had a lot of AoS stuff but that mainly because 2020 was abysmal because of 9th edition which was what happen in 8th edition as well. I don’t think we should use the 2021 release an excuse for the current drought because they still went ahead and release a new edition which come with the expectation of updating the army battle tomes at a good enough satisfying pace
  6. I wouldn’t be surprise if there was a point increase since it seem a lot of units are generally getting more expensive all around. It may not be too much of an increase if they are still 1 wound infantry as they seem to value wounds the most.
  7. Knowing GW, I bet the strength of the new FS book is spamming Magmadroth lol
  8. I think it too late to change conditional battleline, since they advertise making a dragon only list and that was the draw. Also that seem like one of those heavy handed changes that AoS team never if rarely will ever do. I can only see them changing the spell shrug to a different number and reworded the shoot in hero phase ability or just the usual minimum point change. are it could be simply that as more books come out it becomes easier to deal with it or every book will start having this one absurd spam unit list and that just the name of the game for this edition.
  9. Given the theoretical timeline i can see World eater being the 10th edition starter army. there has been some mirroring between 40K CSM and their related AoS God army but while Disciple of Tzeentch and Thousand sons had cross releases on models in Tzaangors, Deathguard and Maggotkin of Nurgle coming out similarly close to each other but didn't have Pestigors or any units share between them. this time maybe they are timing a product release between Worldeaters and Blades of Khorne. as for new Army, it possible it whatever this daemon release that supposed to come out for 40K (daemon Codex has not been release yet) is going to tie into Sigmar was well. maybe it Be'lekor and Ruinstorm daemons since he seems to have been gaining narrative significance in both settings recently.
  10. They didn’t do it last time with Shadow and pain but at the time the community where not sure if was going to be new tomes for DoK/HoS
  11. I feel like there a lot of hasty judgement here ( dare I say kneejerk reaction) before the battle tome has even been announce yet and there a full picture. I assume that a lot of thing can change when a new tome comes out like with Nurgle. I at least assume that high tide is going to change into something else at least
  12. If it more of what GW will at minimum and realistically will do, they probably see the Gluttons and other old battle line unit like Gors, Night goblins, Clanrats, Black Orcs, everyone of the CoS battle line unit as serviceable in the game regardless of people opinion of if they are outdated or not. I fathom they don’t have the time to remake every single one of these kit in the near future especially in the confines of this edition
  13. I have a feeling that Khorne is going to get models this edition in preparation to Worldeater coming out soon Other Popular armies are getting second wave model treatment like Sylvaneath, Nighthaunt, Gloomspite Gits, Realmlords and slaves to darkness despite what people think they deserve. That just how GW rolls. Everyone most likely get a tome and one new model if any Only Seraphon gets the rework treatment this edition May not happen this year but could be next three year
  14. Eventually i feel like they will do something about them (pull them out or remake them) but in the context of this edition and maybe even the next, i can see GW just letting them just lavishing around until then because it doesn't seem like it would be a priority. i feel more hopeful for the Firebelly just because they bother making a spell lore for him and actually give you reason to use him, but is it going to happen IDK shrug.
  15. in a realistic view, Ogors and BoC really just need their Resin Hero to be made in Plastic as that the current big problem with their range (Ogors have the Tyrant which is the only one outside of the stonehorn kit and BoC has the bray shaman and the Tzaangor Shaman), they probably could do more with plastic hero release (though more than the standard one) since their core plastic range is serviceable and isn't egregiously old. some of the Ogor stuff like Gorgers and Yhetees, feel like those random resin Drukhari units that GW keep around in the army but are questionable if we ever see a plastic version of them in the future
  16. Crab unit you say FYI this was basically a Idoneath Deepkin movie but set in the DC universe lol
  17. A lot of book release and few miniature releases and only army that probably didn't need it is my guess lol as for coalition j be wary of them using it as a mechanic outside of fluffy lore usage, it seems like a trend that they are going away from souping units and really emphasizing that the units in your Book/ Pitch battle profile are the one you are using for your army. Edit: i do think it going to be a slow year for AoS but not because of supply issues but rather they are going to favor 40K releases over AoS for at the least the first half of this year, it seems to me they are at least capable of churning out stuff despite the global issues just looking at the 40K slated stuff
  18. maybe there is a LVO preview this year? it is happening the on the last weekend of this month but there hasn't been word of a reveal show at the event. an online show could happen around the same time though.
  19. Yeah that one where the Rotbringer was murderizing that Lumenith Aelves was a really a piece of Art
  20. Or there could be a bottleneck in the book release and they are just prioritising 40K books, since it looks like they have a lot to chew through this year with Tau, CSM, Eldar, Tyranids, Traitor Knights, the things they promise with Killteam and somehow get to IG and IK. God know if they going into 11th edition with Worldeater instead of maybe delaying edition change by a year lol
  21. I feel like history say chance is none or only one side gets more models lol
  22. I don’t remember but the rumour timeline was like IDK tome in February, Fyreslayer was March, in between where the big 40K release and May/June was a Death tome but OP said he wasn’t sure which Death army
  23. There are lot more outdated kit in Skaven compare to those two. i wouldn't say the Soulblight release adiquately build on the two new Bloodline as well as it could be. i would say it be harder to touch all four clans for that kind of release in one go, the Ork was regular Ork units and Beast Snaggas (snake bites) and i doubt this Eldar release is not going to touch all the Phonex lord and Aspect warriors in one go
  24. Probably too much to ask GW to do everything at once so that realistically why. Got to temper your expectation somehow
  25. There was that one weird time with Carrion Empire where they reveal the 2 battletome (Skaven and FEC) at the same time they where going on preorder preview with the related Battlebox but I don’t expect that to happen again
