Holy Radioactive Rats @MitGas! Where’d you find this?

Yes. Sources are “Covens of Blood: A Snake Sheds Its Scales” and “Yndrasta: The Celestial Spear”.
It also shows up in Scourge of Fate, where part of a chaos warband is made up of a half-Ogor and some of his monstrous kin.

Here it is!
What are the odds that GW will re-release Tamurkhan's range as an MTO tie in?

yes, it's good to keep in mind that if rules feel too "different" to you it's likely because most of us grew up with the hit/wound/strength/toughness roll tables. in comparison, learning different colors and a few icons will go quickly.
can we do this at home like Ejecutor asked and also, is it only things bought DURING the event or can it be any kit? like I just bought a new Seraphon Salamander (at an actual GW store), surely that should count if the event is soon?
Home+picture.

But my point is, you do this at home, right? How can they prove it is not old stuff or pics from someone else (if they ask for pics at all)?
My store's allowing pics, but otherwise I guess they're trying to encourage people to hang out at the stores.

Seems the most likely. Btw, how is the campaign working? Do you have to play at the store the games?
@Ejecutor the campaign is pretty simple: you're given a card with a collection of tasks that earn you up to 18 points. It's basic stuff, build a unit, paint a unit, play a game, introduce a friend (you can get six by building a vanguard box). At the end of the event the manager collects the cards and determines whether or not the local players built or destroyed the city.

Good News Everyone! after lamenting the loss of half the war cry war bands and signing up for the CoS campaign I heard from my local GW Manager (Mike in Deer Grove, Illinois) that the Horns of Hashut may be rolled into an upcoming Chaos Dwarf faction in Fourth Edition.
Is this true? possibly, after all this is only rumor.

I'm in the same boat. Most of my Battleline were Untamed Beasts and Iron Golems.
I can now only prey that the horns are being moved into a new Chorf range, cause otherwise that’s just a waste of resources.

Well the Warcry section just gutted a quarter of my slaves to darkness army in one fell swoop! Seriously gw why introduce the Horns of Hashut if you’re just planning on getting rid of them in the next edition?!?!

There was a blog post years ago by Kieron Gillen, famous comics writer and dude who also wrote a skaven graphic novel once, about how the Great Horned Rat on one level basically fills the conceptual role of Malal. This sort of thing has been discussed upthread and I think this thematic approach is much better, and also Gillen puts it well:
Violence without bravery, sex without pleasure, decay without rebirth and endless scheming which only ever eats its own tail… It’s almost as if the Skaven’s very existence is deliberate mockery of the four chaos gods. […] It would be a rat burrowed in the belly of Chaos Undivided, gnaw-gnawing away…. It’s a paranoid fantasy. It’s nothing to worry about.
To my mind, this is a much more interesting way of looking at the GHR and the great four: the perpetual outsider, entwined but opposed, not bound to the others, always throwing a wrench in others’ plans, the skaven as their own thriving thing that is both chaos and utterly un-chaos. ‘Ruin’ dragging down the the pantheon just as much as the rest of the world.
(Separately I would note that the dominions in the 30k Ruinstorm list very clearly were meant to suggest Malal, Vashtorr/the Forge of Souls, etc. Not saying ‘hey, these are fully there as actual Big Things in the universe’ but as thematic nods to them, and kind of highlighting how limited a bluntly reductive focus on explicit canon is.)
This is a pretty interesting point: The Great Horned Rat essentially occupies corrupted/“ruined” forms of the big 4(best example: clans pestilens).

Abraxia looks pretty great, I look forward to eventually ironically painting her for my Belakor devoted StD
I’m trying to figure out how I can make her into my Slaanesh/Tzeentch corrupted vampire queen, so I wish you the best.

Don't fret @KingBrodd, I will purchase and post pictures of the completed kit so that you may focus on the Prince/Princess of All Gargants.
These kits are so good it making me (almost) want to abandon LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!! to focus solely on my Tzeentch+Slaanesh chaos horde.
Permission to steal this incredible idea for my own @Ejecutor?
