  1. Pete the wargamer made an incredible high elves dragon conversion out of the new stormcast dragon. i think with some slight body changes, the same could be done for the dark elves
  2. Currently I have one who I’m using as a black ork bigboss (the guy in the picture with the pirate hat)
  3. I’ve finally gotten my bases and to finally busy the myth that has roamed the earth, yes the new ardboyz/brutes can fit onto 30mm bases. it’s just takes some time to find the right postition for everybody
  4. If we are looking at shooting, I’d say the same thing poison on gutter runners and high strength on jezzails, gives them the option to kill monster quit easy, something our cannon will struggle currently sadly. still I don’t think that those are the only units. we have a monster of our own which can be a menace. and them theres the artefact. the blade that even Nagash fears. a few attacks from that thing…. And that monster won’t be coming back to soon
  5. 1. I have no thoughts on aqshy but as it is for indexes, I see it as a possible outcome. i don’t know if gw will follow 40k in that particularly way but I could see gw going for that. 2. no I don’t believe we’ll get a rat incarnation or avatar. as it is the horned rat doesn’t have one but many verminlords that are its manifestations. if we follow any of the other chaos gods, an avatar seems incredible unlikely. also it is enough if every skaven considers itself to be the chosen one, makes the lore a lot more interesting. 3.well that’s what some say, but talk to any skaven player and they’d tell you that the horned rat is either the only real chaos deity or a god that has nothing to do with the chaos god pantheon.
  6. Yeah I don’t know why and I really dislike it but bonesplittaz don’t seem to get touched at all
  7. I mean I’m buffled the warbringer got reduce in points, considering he and skreech was the other often taken list next to bell.
  8. I mean if you’re talking about removing entire armies, yes, if we are tapking about armies that still exist and got a refresh, well revamps have been so far the majority of those updates.
  9. I’m guessing the first. edit: considering that we so far had 0 armies that truly removed an entire range to just add new stuff in. hell even seraphons had a lot of revamps, and while some people do often like to brag that the new saurus cav. Isn’t the same unit as the old saurus cav. It still resembles the same fundamental idea. So my guess here is we’ll likey see a revamp of a lot of old units, but at the same time maybe a removal of some units, like for example the rat swarm (since it has literally the same role as giant rats)
  10. I could see that unless of course plague monks would still be available in 20s with the mew boxes. at that point you’ll likely see more skaven players complaining about the new priced then the buff to the old that may stay with the new ones (we can only hope)
  11. We got a like on some wishlists from whitefang. In other words no not really
  12. I had a look through the skaven faq and just thought to my self, why did they leave the coolest units that mever get played out. clearly stormvermins should be a min size unit of 20 as well
  13. Well.. then l’emme hope they’ll follow the lore of the skaven and write the book upon that.
  14. Just don’t forget the bomb. And let us hope it doesn’t come back flying
  15. I don’t believe clanrats will get an update. Unlikd most of our range they are quit new and do hold on quit well.
  16. For clan skryre I think what could happen in the worst case scenario, is that we would loose one of the units. Like night runners vanishing, as they are pretty much likely said gutter runners. i could also see a eshin unit that represents the gutter runners with a new name, that could possible replace both units but thats about it. as for clans moulder: I think the only unit we would loose are the rat swarms. They have pretty much the same role in lore as the giant rats, and not many skaven players wouldn’t overall miss them dearly or at all. clan Verminus or the warrior clans, will probably not see any units vanishing or being updated. Considering they are one of our best looking units (especially stormvermins) clan skryre could loose some of the weapon teams if gw decides to not make money, but I’m guessong here that we might see a reinvention of the doom flayer and the update to the other weapon teams. the rattling , warpfire and warpgrinder weapon teams all share a similar posture, and an interchangeable turret option you could easily have a single weapon team model being able to represent all of the three options. thos who have seen my rattling gun conversion will know what I mean by that. as for the doom flayer. In warhammer fantasy it was this ball of death team that was part of the unit you put it in, the reinvention I could see happening is that the doom flayer would become like a biker squad, something similar to the doomwheel, just with a bit less punch but in units of 3 or more. it would give the skaven some sort of cav. And let them ride in style. clan pestilence: i can’t say much about them they seem to have the same problem as for example clan eshin, few units and those that are the bulk of the clan, kinda just do the same thing. so Something I guess I could see happening is that plague monks and censer might be put together, and be given 2 different weapon options. one that tries to deal against the armored foe and the other equipment being made to deal with hordes or better said made for damage dealing but weak against high armor. of course this would mean they’d get a refresh, amd while I’m not certain this will be tje case, it would be quit interesting if they did, as they are in my oppinion one of those units that is on need of a refresh, after night/gutter runners, amd poisoned wind throwers got theirs of course, when it comes down to the department. as for the rest of the models and units I haven’t mentioned, well I do believe some of them might see a refresh, like for example the rat ogre, although I don’t believe we’ll see the packmaster staying as their own thing with a refresh, although something I could see happening with them is the idea that they may become a part of the rat ogre unit, which would kinda fit into the aspect of the squig herders. they still exist but are buff models in the unit they are leading, which is a great concept in terms pf lore put to rules
  17. I’m amazed that we haven’t seen an angry marine launcher conversion since their release Same, I really dislike the lore changes. in all actuality I haven’t yet many skaven players who consider the current aos lore as canon. Personally the power struggle for the 13 sears should come back, and considering the better lore, I’d love to see clanrats and stormvermin being the generic unit seem in all clans. that of course doesn’t mean clan verminus shouldn’t exist. Something I never quit understood is why gw chose not to give us any kind of subfaction abilities, considering that we could be an incredible interesting army for that system. Instead of looking for clans they could easily just add aspects of the horned rat, a way to play the skaven something you’re own made up clan follows specifically. there are so many follower clans from moulder or skryre, armies that heavily went into those aaspects. why shouldn’t we have an army of sneaking clanrats and stormvermins that follow the hidden paths lf the eshin clan.
  18. Well, since we are at it, I actually just wanted to share a pic. say hello to my black ork bigboss Bobba ps: and no…. That’s sadly not the official base, I’m still waiting on my 30mm😭
  19. I mean where I could see hh being more profitable is probably their price range. it’s funny, but as many people often stated hh being that system where you’ll spend more money then in the 40k universe. the models are in comparison to any of the 40k variants of their own often cheaper, or have more models for the smae price in it. For example for almost the same price you’d pay for 10 intercessors, you can get 20 legionaries in any kind of armour with ease, next to that they even have truly gorgeous new armour sets that fit into the line very well. although this is where it kinda stops, at the theory. in practise, I haven’t seen to many people using 30k proxy armies for 40k. the few that do often just play hh and sometimes with their buddies 40k. maybe this is just the place where I love but while HH is a great game, I can’t see it being more profitable then aos. Nor do I. Then again I could see underworlds being more profitable, especially since not only the underworld players are often interested in fielding them, but I’m not certain if underworlds is considered its own system or a part of aos, when it comes down to profit
  20. I mean if it is a good triumph and treachery system I’m all for it
  21. Yeah I stoll don’t connect with them. the idea of stormcast loosing their soul, or the own individuality is tragic for them as their own person. but man don’t I see how sigmar would care about that.
  22. Very unbelievable, especially the skaven one, stating we are only getting nerfs
  23. Mmmh, you are correct. they can only field 20 of ‘em
