  1. So, Warhammer World announced this event on their Facebook page on Saturday, and I thought it sounded like fun. So I nipped across there and picked up a Khorne Bloodbound Start Collecting box, because I've been keen on painting some Blood Warriors for a while, and signed up. Anyone else thinking they might enjoy painting a few new models and having some small-scale gaming fun?

This is a great chance for you to start a new army and play some small, fun games with it against like-minded folks. THE BATTLE OF GHUR The mighty war hosts of Sigmar’s greatest warriors, the Stormcast Eternals have at long last entered the fray, and a new age of bloodshed and conquest has descended upon the mortal realms. Rumours of derelict Dragonfate dais, Realm Gates and Arcane ruins , long since abandoned or crippled by war beyond use begin to once again thrum with power. As word of these phenomena spread, the eyes of Generals, Barbarian chieftains and Sorcerous lords alike turn towards these mythic locations, ripe with envy. Small parties of their finest warriors are sent deeper into the monstrous habitats of Ghur in search of these priceless relics. Guttural howls echo and lightning splits the skies…. Ghur, the Realm of Beasts has awoken, and it hungers for war…. This event will provide a great chance for your new force to see battle on the tabletop, and meet lots of like minded hobbyists who also wanted to a challenge over the summer to try something new with their collections. 4. My WIP is also Silver Tower. Trying to get the whole set painted for a local board gaming event in July. Here's one of the nearly-finished models. The rest of the denizens are in various stages of finishedness, from the Ogroid Thaumaturge that just needs based, to the Tzaangors which are barely started and intimidating the hell out of me.
  5. These are stunning. Probably the best Hallowed Knights I've seen. My one tiny criticism would be that the skin colour on the Dracoth is too similar to the armour for my tastes. But that's a matter of personal choice.
  6. I love the use of the Harad warriors with Gnoblar heads for Hobgoblins. That's very creative, and works really rather well indeed. Can't wait to see them painted!
  7. Oh wow. These are simply stunning. Gives new meaning to once in a blue moon too...
  8. He's looking lovely. Is that the Forge World model? I've been eyeing up that pack. I've got the Night Goblins somewhere, waiting for paint, and I might need to pick up these chaps next time I'm in Warhammer World. I totally agree with you on the green, and you're doing a bang up job of making it work perfectly. Fantastic stuff indeed.
