I got the Blade-Carnival for Christmas, so Slaanesh is my new army for 2022. Hope to combine them with my S2D army, that never made it to 2000p.
I'm happy with what I managed to finalized so far... But the new IDK battletome might be a distraction

I wonder if Idoneth Deepkin will have a significant boost in mortal wound output which is also a 3ed thing

To be serious, we don't know the new rules nor the points. But it looks like everything gets more point expensive. So it will probably be hard to have a good list with two turtles an an Eidolon.

The Sentinel Box has two identical sprues, each with 5 archers and options for an unit leader.
So I assume there is one of this sprues in the Warcry box and two make a whole unit.

The supernatural might of the Eidolons is not power drawn from a deity, (as Mathlan is dead) but rather energies from the Idoneth’s past. What ever that is 🤣

Turning the tide is nothing you do during your game, only at the start of the first battle round you can declare that the Tides of Death table will be reversed.

You could start with the starter box, but why not starting with the ne Fury of the Deep box? Both are narmati heavy, which where week in the past. Buts as we expected a new book (new rules, new point values) for Idoneth Deepkin it is hard to judge and to propose a list in the moment.

I think it's a complex topic.
At first I just enjoy painting. Simple.
But then I want to improve. So I start learning better technics etc
Ad the same time I want to have a purpose for my minis and also for what I'm doing besides enjoying painting. So I want to play the game, build armies, win tournaments and painting competition.
Then there is something alluring about this minis - Models want to be owned by me. And want to be painted. So I'm forced to paint.
And all this points influence each other. And I feel like I'm trapped in this system 😂

Would it make sense to buy two boxes to have a pure mortal army? Or would that be a waste of money in as you don't need more Slaangors and a second Shardspeaker 🤔

20 points reduction would allow me to have another unit of Hobgrots in my list. Definitely a game changer 😅
Sorry for my sarcastic reply, but point changes are super unimportant compared to warscroll changes. A 4+/3+ attack profile would make them so much better - would make you stop just fishing for mortals.
