So after finishing the the Sybarite Blade-Carnival, what would make the most sense to do next? I already started with the Warcry box for more archers and to bring the twinsoulse to a 10 man squat. Group pic of the leaders -

Made a narrative battleplans. Looking for some feedback!

I really like this kind of battleplans. You could also add something like "artefact is hidden in catacombs" - only heroes on foot with a max wound value of 7 can get the artefact. Mounted heroes can only get the artefact after they have not moved in your last movement phase (took some time to gett of their steeds.) This would solve the problem of to fast capturing of objects. -

You have a battleblan generator similar to the open play cards, but with some changes to incorporate the Thondia realm rules (New Terrain rules for example). Nothing fancy. -

The Thondia Book has new open play rules. I'm going to have a game with this next week. Will be a nice break from thinking about battle tactics and all this fuzz. Also maybe a monster appear in the middle of the board -

Thank you for the report. Was a nice tournament after all. Remarkable from my side; my Soulrender once survived the shooting of a half KO fleet 😄 The look on the face of the OB player, when the King killed his 20 Mortek Guard Overall my list needed way more models. Every loss hurt too much.

Everything should go down like 10% in points. But the terrain should cost 200p and summoning is only allowed with the terrain. So you could play with and without summoning. -
I took the armor as he is already killy enough Does Unstoppable Fury mean you get +2 Attacks for every enemy unit in 3"? So if there are 3 enemy units you get +6 Attacks for every melee weapon? That would be crazy

Would a team of Volturnos, King, Storm Eidolon and Turtle be a super alpha strike? King declare High Tide: D3 Units fight first, volti for additional attack (for all units the King gives High Tide) -> great fcor the turtle Both +1 to hit , Eidolon for +1 to wound (unfortunately no Mount) (+ I have all the models!! 😉)

I just invented a cool rule: The player who controls more objectives at the end of the battle round decides who go first in the next battle round. If both control the same number of objectives, roll a D6. With this the player who goes second in the current battleround has a good chance to prevent a double turn if he is willing to put resources into controlling more objectives. If he fails the consequences may be brutal as he exposed his units to conquer that objective in the middle or in the enemy backfield. I think this would create a lot of tight situations, a lot of close combat fights, a lot of fun

I really enjoy AoS 3.0 But my gaming group lost a lot of momentum, as not everybody was willing to learn the new rules or feels comfortable with the new rules. Due to Corona only a few games are played. I think it was a mistake to introduce 3.0 in the middle of the pandemic. I fear that if we get a GHB22, a lot of GHB21 stay untouched. Also I haven't played all missions yet.
