  1. This is a bit of a theory but some of those stores may have been hit by brexit. My gaming group based in the Copenhagen area of Denmark used to buy all our stuff from wayland before Brexit, but with customs etc it’s no longer a viable place to shop for us. If others have done like us they may have seen a large dip in revenue and can no longer discount like they used to.
  2. Yeah, think you’re right. I have had some success taking out generals on turn one with a Barak-Nar Alpha strike list with a navigator carrying a flare pistol in a Ironclad with an admiral, khemist and 15 thunderes. But it hasn’t won me any games, have had a lot of fun tho. I don’t see many other lists working. The full list is posted somewhere earlier in this forum by another player. It also includes an Endrin master with ballon, 2x10 Arkanauts, 6xEndrinriggers with volley guns and grapnel guns and a gunhauler.
  3. I've had good fun with a snake heavy list. Played 8 AoS3 games so far and have a 5-3 track record(mostly been playing against different variations of Seraphon, 1 game against Nighthaunts and 1 against Fyreslayers) So far my list have looked like this Zainthar Kai Morathi-Khaine The Shadow Queen Bloodwrack Shrine - General Melusai Ironscale 10xBlood Sisters 10xBlood Sisters 10xBlood Stalkers Either 9xKhainite Shadowstalkers or Bloodwrack Viper I'm going to try a Khailebron next game as I can see a lot of movement in that, especially with Mirror Dance and Shadowstalkers. There's a lot of options, I want to try out lists with more bodies too. Sisters of Slaughter should be really good too or Lifetakers
  4. But what if both unit A and B are in base contact? Are they not then equally close?
  5. Pile-in question.. Or pile out rather, I was playing a 3.0 game today where I had a monster unit locked in combat(base to base contact) with two of my units. Now my opponent wanted to pile-out(backwards) and around one unit to get away from my other which the monster was also in base contact with. Is this move possible with the new pile-in rule that it can not move away from the nearest unit and not model?
  6. Thank you for all the replies regarding shooting into combat. While it would realistically make little sense to shoot at your own troops in combat it would from a gameplay perspective gimp every shooting unit and for a bigger part of the game make them useless. It would end up being shooting units only firing on other shooters. I highly doubt it’s a ruling we’ll see when such armies as the kharadron exist.
  7. yeah thought as much. Just struck me as odd that you would not be able to shoot at a enemy unit because its in combat. I get why a unit in combat would only shoot at the enemy unit its in combat with.
  8. Haven't heard the last part, do you mean you wouldn't be able to support a unit in combat with a free ranged unit?
