  1. Get a GW Skull set and you can convert those two left overs to Wardokks or Wurrgogs easily enough.
  2. Oh this looks sweet, the club arm scales really well.
  3. Those look really good, have you thought about using bones and bits of clubs for old fashioned peglegs for them?
  4. It was taken from a new style instruction book, so pretty much. Unless the Rippafist changes it to a 3+, but we won't know until the book drops.
  5. Thanks! They need a bit of greenstuffing, but its not too hard as the shoulders are mostly covered.
  6. Haha way ahead of you there, I picked up the Snagga box for some more Savage Orruk Brutes, here's the first 3 before I based them. Their arms scale perfectly with Savage Orruk ones, so source those for converting. Edit: before I sold the Squig riders, I noted they're small compared to Gotegruntas. The Nob on Squig is about the same size and bulk of a Goregrunta though, considering you get 1 per box you could easily source a load for a whole unit of Squig riding goregruntas.
  7. Is it a leak if its freely available in a retail box?
  8. That seems pretty solid, hopefully we get more previews.
  9. Thats a fair point, i've got one I haven't used mine yet.
  10. Do Stonehorn Beastriders have much use any more? A Huskard is 10 points more and has some much more utility from mount traits and heroic actions.
  11. Oh the quality of hobby here is so high, this army is amazing.
  12. I'd hold off completely building models until the book drops, everything is so up in the air now. Like other posters have said, 3 sets of Savage Orruks and the Shadespire warband will give enough for a core of an army, i'd personally get that, assemble the command options for 3 units, leave the bodies for Big Stabbas unassembled just to see what changes. Leave the weapons off as well, so when the book does drop you can go with what is solid. That'll give you: Wurrgog Prophet 1 Big Boss from the Shadespire set 4x10 Orruks enough bits to make 20 Orruks, or 6 Big Stabba teams and 8 spare Orruks, if you use the Shadespire models (axe and bow) as unit champions you'll get another 10 man unit. Once the book drops you can glue weapons onto the 40 Orruks depending what is good, then add from there.
  13. Probably not all the time, but its an option we have. Considering that means a Stonehorn on the charge is effectively rend 0 on all of its attacks, that could mean those 20 tank enough damage to hold an objective. Its an option we've got access too. Until the book comes out, its a bit pointless to try to plan for this or around any potential. The snippets from the streams sound tempting, but I don't want to try to think about synergies with an incomplete picture, just what we've got so far.
  14. 1 and 4 are very unique, 1 looks Shyshian. I've submitted a list for an event, I haven't had much time to prep for 3rd so its a total no brainer, if I get a single win it'll be a bonus. I have 2 test games this week, one today against either SoB or a 2 FLOSH BCR list and tomorrow against a Tzeentch Archaon army, so they'll be tough games. Boulderhead: Kragnos FLOSH: Metalcruncher, General Huskard on Stonehorn: Metalcruncher, Brand of the Svard 3x2 Mournfang: Gargant Hackers, in Hunters battalion 2 Frost Sabers =2k on the nose Should be a good chuckle of a list, some stuff will batter me senseless, but some other lists will just get rolled by the damage. I put Svard on the Huskard as its main damage is the horns and hooves, the FLOSH benefits from Titanic Duel and All out Attack more as the spear gets a bonus to hit as well.
  15. They'll have to get more rules, otherwise they are overcosted. Putting them in Hunters, mystic shield from one wizard, +1 save drink from another and All out Defence means you've got a unit that ignores up to -3 rend, a boss nearby makes only one run away, so you've got a 40 wound tarpit, all the while boltboyz are shooting in with better poison procs. The other reason I put 2x20 in is because theres nothing else at the moment, if the rest of the stuff is so strong you'll have to take it, they'll get reduced in size. If Hobgrots are battleline in Kruleboyz lists, i'd drop the unit of 10 to add in 10 Hobgrots and then have more points for toys. We really need the book though, my Ironjawz and Savage Orruk armies are shelved until it drops as I don't want to learn with them if I have to forget what i've been learning. Multiples of 5 would be so handy.
  16. I really can't wait to see more, the points are going to be interesting. Considering this; 2x20 Gutrippas 1x10 Gutrippas 2x3 Boltboyz 2 Shaman is only 1390 thats a fair few points to play around with. If the Sloth and Vulture are in the 300-400ish range with the bolt thrower and Sloggoth at 150ish you've got a few toys to play with.
  17. Fair enough, I did write out an MSU Choppaz list with the idea that I can buff 5 units of Ardboyz a turn for attacking/trading better with Kragnos and 2x3 Gruntas as a second wave to kick stuff away.
  18. What does your list look like? I've got an event on in 2 weeks and i'm torn between Kragnos, FLOSH, Huskard and 3x2 Mournfang or trying him in a Big Waagh list.
  19. I think they mean if Kragnos is fighting another Kragnos.
