  1. The Tally works better if you concentrate on debuff with a Lord of Blight. I'm actually 2-1 against tournament list with my version of the Tally. I've lost against a shooting-oriented Kharadron due I've lost the first turn (both list are 2 drops) and my oppo bad explanation 'bout his shooting range (5" back, or better save Rolle, and GUO will survive changing the entire match). Against Khorne and Beastclaw the list works exactly how I've planned: they only hits on 5 and 6s and deal more MW on themselfs then wounds on my Plaguebearers. I will soon try the list against a Petrifex OBR list. If he don't bring Katakros I can manage it. Otherwise his +1 to hit bubble will crush my plans.
  2. Hi all, yesterday I've tried an heavy-flayers Blisterkin list for the first time. Major win against Nighthaunt but I've been disappointed a little bit by the list. I've tried: AGKoRT with Doppleganger, Archregent (both with Spectral Host) Infernal Courtier, 9x Flayer, 6xFlayers, 3x Flayers into a Deathwatch Cogs and Chalice ad Endless. Good looking army and funny idea, by I don't understand why people find it a competitive list. You lack of body count and screen, your shooting is good against poor bravery army but entirely uneffective against many armies, the Terrorgheist is less effective than the Gristlegore's one. I win just by my superior experience and the low strenght by Nighthaunt battletome. I will try it again, but I'm sincerly scared to face Dok, LoN and the most competitive armies. Edit: forgot to mention, before this game I've play a middle-competitive Royal Mordants Gristlegore with AGKoRT, Archregent, Varghulf, 3x10 Ghoul, 6x Flayers and 6x Horrors + Cogs. Not a competitive list but way more solid than Blisterkin one. 3-0 against Sylvaneth, Khorne and Nurgle.
  3. Was in doubt if give LoC the Mark of Conjurer or Etheral Amulet 'till few minutes of the start of 2° Game but after all I decide for the Amulet. And it was a Lucky Strike! My opponent bring an Alpha Strike list of Kharadron and my LoC survive the first turn thanks to the Amulet. The game was short and brutal (for him). With his alpha strike he kills 24 Kairic and halved the wounds of my LoC. After surviving, the LoC cast the Cogs (making him vitually unkillable), set the Spellportal for the Gaunt (who kills 16 on 30 Arkanauts with his spell) and make "ethereal" one of my Enlightened units (tnx to Shyish specific spell) with the Gaunt giveing them Shield of Fate. (No rend 5+ save rerolling 1,2 and 3s) After some shopping and a brutal charge from the 12 Enlightened with Shaman, my opponent lost 1/3 of his list (at turn 1!) and concede the major victory. Not a great test for the new setting of the list but all the units do exactly what I expect: Kairic provides good screen, Heroes give me control of Magic and the 2x6 Enlightened hit hard. 2 games: 60 pts and 4000 massacre pts in the league. Next Week I get 2 more difficult matches against DoK and Nurgle. Soon new uptdates.
  4. First game of the league: major victory against a MSU Stormcast list with some shooting (2 Ballista and 2x5 Judicators), I run the list I've tested in the last weeks. Strange opponents list and strange game. Usually the Stormcast list in my club are with big blobs of Sequitors and Evocators and you need to concentrate with Mortals and countercharge on 1 unit at time locking the other. In this game I was forced to divide the army. The match was "Escalation" and I got the first turn. Decide to let one of the 3 obj to my opponent and concentrate on the other two. He does the same but was almost wiped out at turn 4. Enlightened and heroes was outstanding, as usual. Still doubtful about the Tzaangors: when they was more than 9 they have a decent damage output but at same cost of 2x10 I can run 6 more Enlightened on Disc + another 1x10 Kairic. Same board control, and more efficient countercharge. Another doubt is the artifact for the LoC: with Ethereal Amulet (combined with Shield of fate) he's truly resilient with his unmodifiable and rerollable 4+ save... but I find also interesting the Arch Sorcerer combined with Chronomantic Cogs to gain 6 fate point only with LoC per turn. Any suggestions?
  5. Second and last test-match with my list. This time against a good all-around Stormcast list (10 Evocators, 20 Sequitors, 3 Ballista + Lord Ordinator, 2x5 Judicators, Gavriel, Lord Arcanum, Castellant). Win by Major victory. The strategy was the usual one. Protect Heroes with the Kairic, cast a lot of Mortal Wounds and countercharge with Enlightened and Tzaangors. Once again the Heroes done their Job (funny to see the LoC taking only 4 wounds from 2 multi-shot Ballista thanks to Etheral Amulet and Shield of Fate ) with the spell. Enlightened worked well thanks to a better use of the Shaman. Really upset by the 2 units of 10 Tzaangors. For their cost, they do nothing offensively. With the same points I will probably buy and add 6 more Enlightened and 10 Kairic or 20 Marauders.
  6. Just get a big win over DoK (60 witches and Morathi instead of the classic 90 Witches, but still a tough list). I've got a Major victory (2 comets mission) thanks to my higher experience with my army. The Heroes do exactly what I expect by them: tons of Mortal damage and complete control of the magic (so useful to dispell at 42") Tzaangor Enlightened (at my own personal first try) seemed to me less resilient and poor punchy compared to the pre-nerf Tzaangors. Still they're the only close combat hammer we have, so we must try to get their best. Really unsure 'bout the 2x10 Tzaangors units. Probably it wasn't the best match to try their new potential but, in this configuration, they seems frail and with poor offensive output. Next week starts the league and my forecast is I will beat the less experienced opponents and will lose against the Pro Players, with this such of list. ?
  7. I'll start a compwtitive Club League next Week. Even after the Tzaangor nerf, I can't stand away from my dead LoC and his fellas. I've to change my pre-faq list with 60 Tzaangors and I was thinking about how replace them. Initially, I've think to simply exchange 60 Tzaangors with 18 Enlightened on Disc but at only one week from the start of the League I want to try this. Comments? Forecasts? Criticism? Tzeencth2000PF (1).pdf Edit: - Lord Of Change: 380 pts General, Ethereal Amulet, Magica l Supremacy (Bolt of Tzeentch) - Tzaangor Shaman: 180 pts (Fold Reality) - Gaunt Summoner with Familar: 180 pts (Shield of Fate) - The Blue Scribes: 140 pts (Tzeentch Firestorm) - 10 Tzaangors: 180 pts - 10 Tzaangors: 180 pts - 9 Tzaangor Enlightened: 420 pts - 10 Kairic Accolytes: 80 pts - 10 Kairic Accolytes: 80 pts - 10 Kairic Accolytes: 80 pts - Umbral Spellportal: 60 pts - Geminids of Uhl-Gysh: 40 pts 2000 pti
  8. The whole army is a Tribute to the '98 Golden Deamon GUO by Paul Thomas. The book is from the Old Imperial Mage kit. The 3d place GT list is really not competitive... I'm glad he made a good result but I can't really understand how...
  9. My Poxbringer with Tome of Thousend Poxes. Yesterday he was the MVP of the match surviving 1 combat fase against a Morngoul and let the Drones and Plaguebearers win the game against a Nighthaunt list. ?
  10. I've just made a try (with a lot of proxy) against a friend with Khorne. Sadly, Nurglings doesn't hit and wound and die too fast. I usually run my "12 Drones list" but I've tried a mixed version with 6 Drones and 4 Pusgoyle. I still prefer a full Deamon flies for some reasons, but Pusgoyle are a good choice too.
  11. I've tried to make a list with Morbidex Twiceborn, GUO, a Sloppity and many Nurglings... but it seems to be too fluffy even for friendly matches. (only thing that comfort me is that Nurglings are very good in 40k and basically I just have to add some of them to my AoS list to play 40k )
  12. Definitely! It's sad that 2 of our most iconic and funny units (Beast and Nurglings) are so overpriced.
