  1. TK placed 11th at the Warhammer World GT... I've asked the player for his list. I'm curious to see how it compares to my concept, and whether I have the models to run what he ran...not that experience and tactics matter, right? Anyway, if I were to run TK right now, it would be Settra, 2x6 chariots, mounted herald, mounted LP, 3 scorpions, 10 skittles (battleline tax), and a necrosphinx. two blocks of 6 chariots that can regenerate two (that's ten wounds) per turn is pretty durable while tossing off decent numbers of attacks. The scorpions can make a pretty nasty, versatile surprise, and the sphinx is partly rule of cool and partly my main means of dealing with heavy stuff. If I see heavy stuff, we're kind of in a horde meta right now.
  2. Pressure of the deep. It rarely does much, but it gets in the opponent's head and makes him obsessive about making sure that a single casualty doesn't cost him 10 more models. That's money. If he's thinking about that, he's not thinking about more important things. And mystic on Ishaelans in cover. Two very nice spells. Not worthy of the points cost of an eidolon, though. A tidecaster will do. zannen deshita. Yeah, I'm too lazy to install the character set.
  3. Going to try this list as soon as I build 6 hexwraiths, 1 dog, and the sweet new black coach: Arkhan: Vile Transference Mengine Necro: wristbands, overwhelming dread Necro: shroud, fading vigour 40 sword'n'board skittles 40 sword'n'board skittles 5 dogs 5 dogs 10 Hexwraiths Coach battalion palisade With two skellie hordes, I'm going to have to play board control and attrition, but the dogs and wraiths are fast enough to give me a little mobility, and the wraiths in particular are intended as recyclable cruise missiles. I assume I'll be re-raising them twice a battle. The palisade, of course, is for Arkhan. Should help with not having the usual VLoZD distraction unit.
