  1. So it's reciprocal? I understand who they can take as allies, I just wondered if the list was the same in reverse.
  2. Apologies if this has been asked already. I see the people LoA can ally in to their force, but is there any reliable information on what armies can take LoA as allies? I want to add some artillery to my Nurgle force.
  3. What's the general consensus on the Depraved Drove?
  4. I can't help but feel anarchy and mayhem and destined mayhem are an oversight. That's +2 to wound rolls ?
  5. At this stage, I'm quite relieved i didn't finish painting 30 of them.
  6. I was thinking the same regarding Tzaangors. I don't know how GW can still sell the Disciples of Tzeentch book and keep a straight face.
  7. Amidst all this goodness it pains me to moan but...Please stop, GW. Tzaangor Skyfires have had quite the beating already.
  8. Is there any where with more detail about the Slaanesh marked battallion? Mainly what it actually comprises of. I'm really excited about it. Already thinking of a Shub Niggurath inspired project but want to know what to pre empt going into it.
  9. Managed to score an absolute gem of an army from a social media friend. 1 Dragon Ogre Shaggoth 3 Dragon Ogres 20 Gors 20 Ungors 10 Bestigors 2 Shaman 2 Beast Lords Im already in possession of 30 Tzaangors so looks like I'm off to a decent start. Just need to wait for the battletome so I can start to work out what's what. Really looking forward to release now.
  10. Quick question, rot brothers. Whats the better loadout for Plague Drones? Probiscus or mouthparts?
  11. I have had the same experience with summoning. 90 percent of the time I'm just throwing small units of plaguebearers into existing combats and bogging people down with more bodies.
  12. Looks like I better find a flying base for mine then. This is happening.
  13. No slight intended upon anyone with my previous comment. Hopefully that goes without saying. Just an observation based on the lack of chatter of Nurgle in all the main channels. I have been listening to The Honest Wargamer and the growing theory that AoS2 is moving to a chaff heavy meta where armies need to strongly feature chaff lines to counter alpha strike and the like. Similarly, there's a lot of talk that flying units are key to avoid chaff lines and go towards just targets. Fortunately for us we have one of the best chaff lines in the game in plaguebearers. They are also battleline too which is an added bonus. As for flying units we have Plague drones. I admit to not being very experienced with them, but everyone seems to agree they are excellent. Obviously they need a daemon knocking around to make the most of their attacks. I have taken to list building with a Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount who can keep pace with them and trigger the locus. But, he can't fly, so roadblocks may appear. I then had the idea of running a GUO with the Thermalrider Cloak. Not only is this a hilarious visual concept, but this allows him to trigger their locus AND with his command ability you get an extra round of attacks with them. What do we reckon to this? I understand the cloak comes at the opportunity cost of other items but there may be ways round that with some battallion trickery.
  14. So Blackout and BOBO have been and gone and things seemed very quiet on the Nurgle front. Does anyone have any info on whether any Nurgle lists placed well? If not, how do we fare against the lists that did well at both events?
  15. So, let's say taking all this into account I wanted a solid foundation to build upon at 2k with a heavy sacrosanct vibe. Would a battleline of 20 sequitors and 2x5 judicators be a solid start? I want a spicy surprise gunline but I think rather than crippling my army build with castigators I'll just add in 2 or more ballista and old mutton chops. Still plenty of dakka and a huge beard to go with it.
  16. Ok, on a similar vein, what's the comparison like between castigators and judicators? I assume judicators edge it purely on satisfying battleline. No soul strike nonsense of course but I guess you free up loads of points elsewhere.
  17. I literally have a bunch of castigators saved in an eBay basket and don't know what to do! I really like the concept of a sudden tornado of firepower dropping from the sky but don't want to throw loads of money at a meme.
  18. Would it be fair to say that I could achieve a similar aim by taking Vanguard Raptors? Sure, no rend, but a unit of three pumps out 27 shots a turn right? Quantity has a quality all of itself holding true, isn't that better surely by weight of firepower?
  19. Something like this, perhaps? Utter Stormcast noob here but my thinking was to sacrifice some of the dakka and install some magical support.
