  1. That is nice for you. I am sorry you can't **** off to your feminine miniatures anymore but she is a badass chaos warrior. I am not sure if being "feminine" is her number one priority 😂.

  2. "Feminine: having qualities or an appearance traditionally associated with women." Let's see she has wide hips, long hair, and is in fact a female. So yeah that's a feminine model. Sorry women have more than one shape and you don't like it lol. I mean thats not even adding in the fact that she's wearing full plate armor so she should look pretty androgynous anyway. Edit: I want to add how weird it is that every female model that comes out gets this "she isnt hot enough for me!" Posts. Could you imagine if every new stormcast or male miniature got "ugh I wish they would show more bulge! Why can't they make the men hotter!". I don't think we're a bad community by any stretch but literally multiple comments every time a female model is shown would be pretty exhausting to read for a woman thinking of getting into the hobby.

  3. Good news for Warclans players then new treatment at the doorstep. Maybe you’ve already seen part of it?

  4. I love this model, and I'm really glad that GW have moved away from having one body type for human women. Not every female model needs to look "feminine" (especially chaos warriors), and there are still plenty that do.

  5. I see this - Ironjawz players don’t want new models - idea quotes often but I don’t believe it personally. Ironjawz is the army that got me into aos in 2016 for the Season of War and the first ever army I fully painted to 2k in 25 years of hobby. I want more Ironjawz models to paint and to play with and I’ve wanted them for 5 years. Pretty sure there’s a lot of people like me out there.

Just remember that when you are talking about a new model that GW is showing off and consider what somebody might think about what you are saying. You are welcome to critique things, but use some common sense!!!

  10. Why must a chaos warrior be pretty? These are people wearing refrigerators for armour and roided out on chaotic blessings to the point of being near stormcast size. Not to mention the not insignificant chance of sprouting horns, tentacles or a dozen other mutations. We don't complain when they give the men different body types, let GW do the same for their women.

  12. I mean, they still do. Look at the Darkoath Queen, Slaanesh mortals, Idoneth, and Lumineth. GW has been doing a variety of body types, from buff Sororities, feminine Hedonite priests, to the rather large nurgle hag lady. Personally I appreciate a buff servant of the dark gods. Legend sings of her ascension to daemonhood.

  15. The Rules for this new unit have already leaked: "And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas. And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'

  16. Well the rumours did say that Hobgobs traded weapons with Chaos Dwarves, so it's entirely possible that the grenade is of dwarvish design and being lobbed by a hobgob Plus Hobgob lobba sounds just silly enough that it could be an official name

  17. I'm an all time elf player and get excited each time another breed of elfs is announced. Wood elfs? Great. Cow elfs? Give me them. Psychopathic sadistical shadow elfs? Two boxes of each unit please. With elfs it's down to aesthetics and their haughty nature. I dare to say most elf players feel a bond with each other. As for elfs vs dwarfs. They don't have to be equal in numbers but c'mon - 5 elvish battletomes vs 1 dwarven? That's a grudge.

  18. I don’t understand this idea that there needs to be the same amount of Dwarf armies as there are Elf armies. The idea that it’s unfairly weighted towards Elf players just doesn’t work, because ‘elf players’ aren’t really one group. New Lumineth models mean as much to Idoneth players as they do to Kharadron players, for example. I don’t see any merit in lumping all elves together and all dwarfs together and expecting parity between them, it’s only going to lead to arguments and disappointment. There’s only one Seraphon army, do we arbitrarily need 3 or 4 of them to match Elves too? Elves have always been a species with more variety and ideas for them in Warhammer. I doubt that’s going to change. But elf armies and players are not some monolithic group.

  19. Khazukan Kazakit-ha! I can see plenty duardin adding their dammaz to the idea of a duardrazhal in Age of Sigmar. While I must always display the proper level of gnoll-engrom I have to say I don't think it will be quite the kruk that people seem to expect. Time was when all the dawi WERE one people... whether they were boki, bolg, endrinkuli or drengi (or even elgram grumbaki!) The Tales of the Wanderer suggest we all have something to learn from each other. The Fyreslayers need to stop clinging to old traditions that turn them zaki, the Dispossessed need to remember that no karak is worth more than the khazukan who dwell in it, while the Kharadron need to have their fleet planted in the past to not get swept away by their own greed and end up ufdi unbaraki! Basically, by my gromthi, the duardin are all wazzocks at the moment and maybe they should work together. With fyresteel, aethershot and doughty clans we could reclaim our legacy properly - not messing around in little isolated packets like preening elgi too convinced of their own importance and self-righteousness to do some proper skrund. Well I'm ad and said my piece. Pass another bowl of drongnel, and is there any more of that grizdal or are we all out?

  23. I have every expectation that the Kroolboyz will be: a) part of the Warclans b) fully capable of being fielded as a force in their own right, just like Ironjawz, and c) aesthetically and thematically coherent, rather than a hodgepodge of random greenskin types crammed together in the 'All Others' category of orruk types.

  24. This is about around the third or fourth time it seems Whitefang has indicated a connection between the new "faction" and Warclans. At this point, it just sounds like there is no new "army", but a sub-faction or expanded roster to Warclans. It makes sense when you think about it. Consider the rumors sound like multiple things: Hobbit/LotR style orcs called "Kruel Boyz". "Hobgobs" that trade with Chaos Dwarfs. A cauldron with a snotling and a shaman. Maybe it all sounds separate because it is. It's not a whole new army, just an update to Warclans with a bunch of new greenskins of different types. Minus Gitmob Grots as has been said multiple times. Kruel Boyz/Krool Boyz/King K. Rool Boyz/ however it will be spelled, makes a ton more sense when its not the name of a battletome but a unit or sub-allegiance.

  25. A lot of people don't realise that these models are also female in Slaanesh 😛 Not every female models need to be attractive to you, it's a bit weird to think so tbh - same as it would be weird to be upset that not every male model looks like Sigvald.

  29. I think introducing a third ‘clan’ into Warclans — Ironjawz, Bonesplitterz and now Kroolboyz — will help to put more of an AoS spin on GW’s greenskins, which have otherwise translated pretty seamlessly from Fantasy Battles. At the same time, introducing it this way wouldn’t take away from that classic aesthetic for the players and fans who wanted to run a more old-school approach. It will expand the range of Warscrolls and playable rules for players who are happy and excited to embrace all three clans in their Waaaagh!, creating new synergies and lists, but traditionalist will still be able to proxy those rules with Ironjawz/Bonesplitterz models/conversions, if they want to stick to those traditional flavours, giving them more rules and synergies to play with, too. For the painters, lore keepers and hobbyists, it would open up lots of doors in terms of new stories, paint styles and conversions, which I personally love. And by keeping the Orruks together, I have a feeling it will open doors for new Destruction factions who aren’t just a different flavour of Greenskin — whatever they may be! Coupled with Kragnos’ arrival and his ability to be used across the Destruction board, I could see us getting some fresh factions unique to AoS, broadening the Grand Alliance and the wider setting into something more living and breathing.

  32. There are female Gargants. In the Sons of Behemat Battletome it is mentioned that they are a matriarchal society with their stories passed down through these female Gargants. I would love nothing more than if the next Mega Gargant kit is a female Shaman/Leader kit. I would also love more Female Ogors outside of Bloodbowl. The Gutbuster, Irongut and Leadbelcher kits need updating and to have 2 or 3 female Ogors in a unit amongst those would be awesome!!

  34. I love the more realistic, grizzled look they've been giving female warriors recently When you think about it, war is incredibly violent. I always would have thought male warriors would look like rugby players with more scars. There's no reason to believe female warriors would look any different. Totally side note, but I was really interested in a viking-themed game a while ago, but it was being developed by a Korean studio. While all the men looked like hard-bitten viking veterans, all the female (supposedly shield maiden) characters looked like glamour models. I found it utterly jarring. Female warriors should look tough enough to be able to kill a man a lot bigger than them, and hard enough to not give a ****** about it.

  36. Spicy take - Legion of Azgorh being canned by FW but Chaos Dwarves appearing again in lore seems like a deadset that we'll see Chaos Dwarves return in plastic, and I'll put good money they'll appear alongside the Battletome Duardin-Soup for a nice 'Dwarf v Spikey Dwarf' box. And if I'm a betting man, Q1/Q2 2022.

  37. Alright, I analysed the map and here's the list. I wrote down all locations starting with 'The' but think we can pretty much exclude them. Thondia is in big letters as it's the most likely in my opinion - in the 3rd editiom reveal stream they mentioned that Thondia will be the most important of shown regions and also it's sorta where Excelsis is. Feel free to point out any location I possibly missed

  40. For the same reason we should have 3 stormhost battletome like in 40k. And mostly left elves in the bin as 40k eldar are always ignored in favor of imperium. Sorry but that's a very strange idea that things should be like they were . While i agree on the humans as they still don't got anything, saying that dwarves should be united because gw always treated less than some others is strange/silly imho(while i can expect this from gw). If gw wants to consolidate books they'll do for everyone i suppose not only for some. Otherwise let's mark a grudge against them :p.

  41. Slyvaneth have just one Aelf in their ranks. Kurnothi and Umbraneth aren't a thing yet. Unfortunately for Duardin fans, the scales have always been tilted in the favour of the Aelves. In old 8th edition there were three elf books and only one for dwarves. Even in 40k the scales are firmly tipped in the favour of the space Aelves. They have 3 factions and the term squatted exists for a reason. I'm not saying that's a good or fair choice but that's how it is. In any case it's really the poor old humans who are hard done by. They have just one book which they share with the Aelves and the Duardin

  42. I agree with this. I hope GW doesn’t treat dwarves as less important than aelves. Just because they’re half the size, doesn’t make them any less of a person!
    4 points
  43. I can agree with that but to be fair it's not only about new miniatures. Right now order have 6 elven factions: umbraneth, sylvaneth, idoneth, lumineth, kurnoti and DoK(6.3 if we will consider CoS); humans have 1: SCE (1.3 with CoS) and dwarfs have 2: KO, FS (2.3 with CoS). If GW have no plans to combine elven factions (Sylv+kurnoti, Umbra+DoK, Deepkins+Realmlords) then combining KO and FS will be totally unfair for player base of dwarven factions. If this will happens order grand alliance could be called Aelves grand alliance.

  44. I am fairly confident this edition will use dwarves/duardin in a similar narrative fashion as 2.0 used elves/aelves. Grungi is one of the few characters already referenced in the build up to the new edition having reforged the SCE's armour. He is also the staunchest of Sigmar's allies. Dwarves are the traditional enemies of most Destruction factions. Broken Realms hinted at a major character's return. KO have recently been part of a major storyline that will likely make their ability to travel by air more relevant than ever. I am not a big fan of a 'Universal Duardin' option for pretty much the reasons stated above. However, I can imagine Fyreslayers being brought into a larger Duardin faction but not the more popular Kharadron Overlords. However, I personally feel like we are more likely to have a Dispossessed army separate from Fyreslayers. Personally, I think it would be cool if they were divided between Valaya's female followers and Grungni's mechanical golems giving the army a unique take on the classic Duardin tropes. This would also let the Duardin in cities keep their visual identity. I think Chaos Dwarves are a potential although I would like if they were a playable subfaction in Slaves to Darkness. I think they would help expand the range, providing ranged support and warmachines. So by the end of the next edition: I could imagine KO, Fyreslayers, and Dispossessed, meanwhile being represented and in both Cities and Slaves to Darkness which will have continued or expanded Duardin presence. I doubt that any of my hopes or predictions will ring true but either way I think the next edition will be a great time for Duardin fans.

  45. I do play Warclans, but I would disagree that it really hit the mark. Obviously it's a good book, but as someone who was chomping at the bit for new Orruk books, this one hit me as a real downer. The 3 factions each feel a bit shallow (ruleswise) to me, almost like the initial wave of Lumineth (except Lumineth had more competitive viability). Like it's all just slightly different ways to get buffs and rush up the board. I would have much preferred they bring out more distinct playtyles. Obviously though, I respect your take on this and it's perfectly valid. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Plus if they combine the duardin factions, that really makes me worried they won't do more models for Fyreslayers and KO. They're each beautiful concepts and there's so much more they COULD do with KO and Fyreslayers that I worry they won't do it for either if they're just trying to soup them up. I do KIND OF AGREE that rolling dispossessed and ironweld into Fyreslayers would work better, but I say that mainly because dispossessed and ironweld don't have their own actual allegiance abilities currently, so I wouldn't be too worried about losing out on alternative potential development, maybe a little for fyreslayers. Really the only soup book I've enjoyed has been CoS, but that faction for me is a bit of a lore and model anomaly. Obviously we knew they weren't going to ever get around to separate Freeguild AND Dispossessed AND Darkling Covens AND Wanderers, etc battletomes, so I was just happy to see them get some kind of decent rules finally. The lore of the azyrite refugees also had a lot of really good setup going into CoS. They're definitely trying to set something like that up for duardin, but so far they haven't really sold me on it.

  46. Ironjawz doesn't really need new models, Honestly if you started a poll asking if Ironjawz players wanted 1-2 new kits or 6-10 you would probably find most would prefer the 1-2. It's a small line but it really does feel "complete", there isn't any fat and it doesn't really feel like anything is missing. Most ironjawz players I see just want a megaboss on gore grunta and new 'ardboyz. Outside of that in order to introduce new models you're either going to end up with too much redundancy, or breaking the cohesive feel of the army. They're melee specialists, not a mixed arms force and they have everything they need to succeed as a combat phase powerhouse.

  47. I hear you. Ironjawz is the first AoS army I've managed to get a full force painted and also what made me warm to AoS after the shock of the end of the old world. Im making the most of what few kits they have, with every character mini being used at least twice converted and plenty of kitbashing, which the range lends it self to really well. Im excited for the new destruction, but would love to see more Ironjawz, like goregrunta mounted shamans and megabosses.
