I'm curious about the process you used to create the body. Did you use small chunk of expended foam ?
I would like to make my own "DIY idol" but i don't what is the better way to do it

Yea, i cutted a rouded foam. Then i inserted to them pipes to make the esqueleton of the arms and legs. All the other was dough and patience. Ah! and the mask are green dough.

The only hard doing it is the control of the % of warter with the dough when you put it on the pipes, bceuse it can drop the dough, but anyway if that happen just put  glue and model it a bit more ^^
