I was thinking two (2) units of ten (10) but looking at it, I almost want to be a bit cheesy and go with (20) thunderers and buff with khemists for an ultimate one time hail of fire. You want a big bunch of thunderers to get is weapons buffed for the most possible amount of khemist so the optimal place for me is 20 or 15 thunderers and i try aethercannons few days ago and like 60 shots gonna tear apart everything so i want to try mortars without deep striking units and let them back with the ironclad + khemist and shoot as much i can (80 shots with 36" range) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Slick_Kid Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 So, I am on the same track then. I want to go with the deepstrike force of 15-20 thunderers. Even if they rule that only one Khemist can buff one unit at a time, 30-40 shots is cool for 200pts. If I am able to stack 2 Khemists on them that is even juicier!
