Path to Glory Soulblight

Hey so my Warhammer store is doing an Age of Sigmar path to glory and I have been interested in getting into Age of Sigmar for a while now (I got into 40k, about a year ago, I wanted to do Warhammer Fantasy and they dragged me over to 40k) So I'm building a team to do path to glory although I've run into a few key problems...

1.) I spent most of my Warhammer money to create my Grotesques/Vargheists (I play Dark Eldar) so I currently have 2 units of Vargheists, and a Vampire Lord with wings

2.) I don't have a rulebook and have no experience with Age of Sigmar (Working on it but Path to Glory is next Fri)

3.) I have no idea how to make a list in AoS

(Typing this I feel as if I'm completely hopeless xD )

So tactics, recommendations and any other tips and help would be appreciated. (Or do you recommend I drop out)

The rules are free online, just follow the link at the bottem of any GW page, this also includes all rules for compendium units that are not in the Grand Allience book, such as Vlad etc.

The general handbook is the enxt thing you should buy, as it gives ou the points.

warscroll builder will allow you to build any list you need including points.

If you're running soul blight for path to glory you have access to vargheists, fell bats, bat swarms, and blood knights. The bats are webstore exclusive and the knights are expensive (most people use dragon princes/dragon blades as blood knights because of the cost). You'll need access to the generals handbook to play path to glory (I recommend borrowing one since the next version will probably be out in a few months).

As mentioned above, warscroll builder is your first port of call. Get on there and get in that Soulblight section.

Firstly, decide if your going full soulblight, as if so Bloodknights are your battleline. This is good as they are great units and fit in most death lists anyway. The bad thing imo is the models due to price and quality (old models/not that great/finecast!!). So finding an alternative if you want to, and there are a few options so that is nice as gives you flexibility model style wise and price wise.

After that, the vampire is perfect and the Vargheists give you speed and more damage output. Pretty good units to start out with
