New aelves on the way......

I'd like some aelf releases.. But I'd love a wanderer tome.. No models needed, just spell and fluffy batallions, preferably a few combined with Sylvaneth or which give me a forest to start with like sylvaneth have and we used to have (and immunity against the damn things too).

Well, come summer is 3 new elf releases, light, shadow and life. A picture was leaked of a nortilus shell hanging from a belt, which is supposed dark elf model. New dark elves heavily suggests pirate based. Guess it's back to slave trading for the naggaroth bad boys!

The shadow aelves release seems all but confirmed, where are you hearing about the other two? Would really love to see new releases for all three aelf flavors, especially the life aelves. I second the desire for a Wanderer tome, but I feel it's more likely that we may see them rolled into a new and updated Sylvaneth tome. They could do wanderers/sylvaneth similar to how they did mortals/demons for the Tzeentch and Khorne battletomes.

pretty sure he is making this up to garner attention. could be wrong. but seems very random and reaching.

ive only seen a few comments by hastings on atia's site. as well as the one rumor mill image with what looked like a baby drake on a thinly shaped arm.

They are still order.. there must be a limit to their evilness.

Don't think that just because it's in order they're good.

Order stands for structured society not good guys.

The storm cast are tyrannical people , feared by the populace more than adored, fearing their entire city annihilated and populace exterminated from suspicion of chaos taint.

It's in the city of secrets,  mentioned here an there

To be fair, it's not all of them, just that particular chamber of Knights Excelsior, because of the ****** Lord Veritant. By all accounts the Hallowed Knights are pretty chill people, especially Tarsus (RIP), and maybe to a certain extent Gryhmm (can't remember how his name is spelt).

If Cthulu aelves come out I'll be all in (ala Malerion)! I think there's been more stuff about this type than any pirate stuff right?! Here's hoping, the Fleetmaster model is awful in my opinion...

No, I want aelves on stags! Like this killer brand new wood elf model that forgeworld is marketing for the wrong game! Just give him a warscroll and you've got a sale!

Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm on Elk

Looks like Cthulu aelves are the aelves we are getting though, and they should be pretty sweet. Just happy that GW remembers that aelves exist in the mortal realms.

Yeah, Order's a mixed bag.

Stormcast range from noble knights to ruthless warriors, regular human and aelf nobles can either be exploring the city as (wannabe) protagonists or persecuting the "reclaimed" while half-naked servants feed them and Overlords can be anywhere between honest privateers to kidnapping said aelf nobles for ransom.

Exiles/dark aelves are no different but the lean on the vicious side of Order all the same.

Would be cool if DE where more on the "practical" side of good. Using captured destruction guys as slaves. Still fighting for good.. but into torture, slavery etc of anything not order. The guys ignoring the Geneva conventions, the means justify the ends (even more than stormcasts), the radical inquisitors etc.

They are already like that the scourge privateer character in warhammer quest flays people who cross him and displays them on his ship. Of course he would also protect the city and has an interest in keeping around due to 1. profit and 2. can easily find more work.

Plus he likes drinking a lot from the looks of things.

Haha, indeed, the Order GA book even highlights how they operate the dark side of Sigmar's cities and do everything from Khaine cults, piracy, smuggling (which benefited the Order Draconis who needed mounts) and even coercing their cult members with magic to do their bidding.

It's kinda surreal to see a image of Sigmar's shining cities and know that things like the Medusas are lurking in the shadows.

Also, I had the Destruction slave trader idea as well. I used it as justification why Greenskins were in Hammerhal, they busted out of their cells on the ship and went to join the fun.
