Squirrelmaster Posted March 4, 2017 Share Posted March 4, 2017 Yeah, in a 1-v-1 fight with no summoning, Archaon without a doubt. The only model I can really see having a chance against him would be Arkhan the Black, by running away and chucking Curse of Years at him until he dies. Even then, you will run out of table quite quickly, and Archaon will slaughter Arkhan if he catches him. With unrestricted summoning (as per Open play), if you have enough models, I'd have to say Kairos — he can just flood the board with Heralds of Tzeentch and the only real chance you have is to kill him turn 1 before he does that. In much larger Matched games (with an actual army to back you up), Nagash's command ability makes him the strongest general imo. But we're talking 10,000pts-ish here.
