Not going to comment on TS since my 3 year old forces enough of that in the house but I find the 1~ish hour format, lack of 10-55 minutes of preamble and rotating topics and guests to create quite a good podcast.  

Kudos Chris Tomlin I think more people need to follow what you are doing with the Black Sun Podcast.

If you like shorter formats, Fjordhammer also has you covered. Weekly 30-minute episodes. They're segments of the monthly 2-hour episode, so you always get the full amount of content. Can't claim to be as good as TBS, but if you have limited time to listen it's an alternative that also goes straight to the content with very little preamble. It's very hobby/community/Narrative focused as well.

I liked the chariot podcast so far but I did notice a 2+ hour one :P

 

good work, I like a focussed approach to a single topic.  I want information not ramblings.  I'm subscribed!!
