Nubgan
Hey guys, I am thinking about rebasing some of my older fantasy units to make them look 'nicer', and so that I don't have a miss-match between some of my newer armies and older stuff within the same alliance. Wasn't sure whether to go down the clear perspex bases or MDF cut out route, but I think going down the MDF route is probably smarter. My question is however, what type of glue would you guys use to stick plastic and metal models to these MDF bases, does super glue suffice? Ademo
Superglue and I would recommend lightly scoring the mdf with a knife for a better bond as it can tend to be a touch 'shiny'Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
swiftmus
Agreed with everyone else. Super glue works fine and scoring the surface first can't hurt. Some people suggest sealing the base with PVA glue first, I did some of my ogre bases with and some without glue and have encountered no issues with either. David Griffin
I based my entire Free People army on MDF bases with no problems whatsoever. Just super glue to the top, and you're good to go.
