Shaping the battlefield is an integral strategy of military operations. I love how the Sylvaneth forces can do that with the woods drop and subsequent addition with either spells or artifacts. By using the woods to deny movement or influence the opposing army's commander to put their forces in that area, the flow of battle can be made more favorable to friendly forces.

Hi there, just listened to the episode and really enjoyed it! Very useful as I'm still pretty inexperienced with the game.

Hope this is the right place, at the end of the episode you mentioned getting in touch with any questions or tactics to discuss. Just wondering if you had any tips and tricks on piling in? I've seen a few instances in bat reps where players have successfully used it to deny an enemy unit, that would have been pulled in to the fight, the chance to attack (no longer within 3").

This got me thinking: are there any other ways to pile in that might give you an advantage or achieve something other than getting more guys in to attack? Or any tips generally around piling in efficiently?

Cheers!
