Dan.Ford
So quick question about Stormcast and some command abilities. When the General is set up in the Celestial realm he can not do Inspiring presence because you need pick a unit within 12". So is this not possible because he not on the table or that he can not select a unit in the Realm.? The reason I ask is that normally most command abilities requires a target unit BUT some do not. For example Lord celestant on dracoth . This command abilities make all Stormcast units within 24" Battleshock immume in the Battleshock phase. So in your turn , The stormcast player in his hero phase activate his command ability, drops in on the movement phase, etc So have I just miss something?? rokapoke
If your general is not actively on the battlefield, you cannot use any command abilities, targeted or otherwise. It's on page 2 of the FAQ.
