Corax White spray any good?

Recommended Posts

Wondering how it is compared to the old Skull White spray, which isn't fantastic.

Never used the corax spray, but I know the Army painter white spray is trash, always leaves a chalky film. Never again.

It's pretty good for a white spray. The usual 30 seconds of shaking and dusting from 12" away gives a decent result. If you want a more solid layer then come back and dust a second time, but I mainly just use it as a surface for my base coat to key to.

If it's a cold or wet day I'd think twice about using it though.

Too bad we're in for 6 months of cold and wet days -_-'

Alright, so it's better than the old one? Or is it about the same?

I use corax white for all my models. Hold it closer than you would the black spray, otherwise it will dry mid air and land grainy. :)

what is it like as a base coat for an army you plan to do white? has anyone used the spray as the main colour to wash/glaze straight over?

Comes out pretty well. It's how I did my Spirit Hosts.
