ElectricPaladin
I think this sounds great! It's definitely a step in the right direction. It's up to us to keep it positive.

I'd love to see a weekly/monthly White Dwarf for magzine show. Obviously with new releases, but also battle reports, interviews, tactics, etc. It would make compulsive viewing. There's obviously enough money in it, youtubers with less than 10k viewers I'm sure make enough money to cover their costs, even a full time job

Getting that kind of views on a niche hobby like this is going to be pretty difficult if not impossible with the amount of Youtubers covering this niche already. bottle
I think if Critical Role can do it for D&D there is definitely scope to do it for Warhammer. Did you see the announcement that the daily blog is closing too? I guess the link to the community site will occupy that space instead. I am happy to get some of my models into the final Flickr preview (it's my Genestealer Abberants in the top right) ?

Well, warhammer TV gets between 10-20k views. so let's say that's halved from adblock etc. twitch has 100 subs. That's like £250 a month or so, plus adverts, the views per video, I dunno i think it'll work fine. gotta start somewhere and that's not a bad start. Wolden Spoons
I think a website filled with articles like star city games but for the geedubya hobby stuff including guest contributors. Chances are it may even be up now, I should at least look.
Strength_Hammer
I am really hoping the new site will have a section to showcase the blogs, youtube, and twitch channels out there and hopefully bring more light to the whole community and cross the borders between the 40k and AoS global communities. BaldoBeardo
Rumour control. Could be Admech or 30k, but I'm pretty sure the dark boss in the bottom right looks like a stylised dwarf face.Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

AAL
Probably to start just a forum and a more centralized place to put their promotional content and release videos. I am hoping that it evolves into a community feedback hub and a place where they can expand their multimedia presence in both streaming and youtube. It would be nice if there were both casual and competitive sections of the forum as well but so far it looks like the actual company leans towards keeping things fun and friendly which, is not a bad thing at all. Dez
Doesn't look to be a forum at all, though there are links back to social media (Facebook and twitter) which is probably where they prefer to keep it. Analytics and wotnot. It's actually a nice little site.
CoffeeGrunt
It's well-executed and the announcement video from Warhammer TV is pretty funny, GW is becoming worryingly self-aware, haha. It's like an entirely different company from when I got sucked into this hobby in 2013, (and vastly different to the Ghost of GW Past!)
Spiky Norman
That's a hell of a replacement for the GW shop-site blog! Much nicer to have the shop and the blog/community site separated more clearly.
hobgoblinclub
I'm genuinely impressed and surprised (it's so good I'm still surprised despite all the recent great things from GW). Looks like there's actual, lengthy articles on there! Bedtime reading sorted.
CoffeeGrunt
Yeah, the history of Power Armour and the tips for photographing minis are pretty cool articles, plus there's a few others.
TerrorPenguin
Very cool. Duncan's first model is a great article, as is the hunt the monster game with playing cards - even if you don't like it it's good to see them thinking outside of the box a bit, feels a bit old white dwarfey
Dez
That Hunt the Monster was in a White Dwarf.

Ollie Grimwood
It like a free online White Dwarf and a good one with videos ?? It also appears there's no comments section, thank (insert chosen deity), just an invitation to comment on the facebook pages. I think this is a very good move. ElectricPaladin
Is it just me, or do the cartoon portraits make all the ladies who work at Warhammer Community look really attractive?
