Kronos
My Log for my Dwarfen Holds. Some canonical and some Homebrewed Ideas and conversions. First Up one of my Favourite Warhammer Characters. The Myth, the Legend, The Living Saga that is - GROMBRINDAL THE WHITE DWARF Still in the early Stages. But Happy with the look so far, Maybe its because I grew up with the older illustrations of the White Dwarfs where his Beard overflows and really captures the Eye, Equally, there’s something quite outstanding from the 300 White Dwarf Design. I suppose I’m trying to make a pastiche of both concepts.

Kronos
Dwarf Caharcter number 3 and still very early stages. The Dwarf Queen. Before people bash her (social media has been cruel to her) I’m going for. Wueen Victoria Ursula Creed sort of Aesthetic. 1

Having seen your other work then obviously you have the skills to finish this convincingly. A WIP is a WIP after all. The fur is a good look for a dwarf queen! And I never realized how much Sanguinius looked like my grandmother.

Seems to be mostly that Some People have a grievance of how an Old Dwarf Woman Looks like - Never mind thatbit was a wip, even if I left the Leman Russ face untouched - Who’s to say what a Fictional Dwarf Woman, several hundred of years old and weathered by war looks like - I would suggest they look at veteran Women UFC fighters. My biggest issue is that no one seems to batter an eye at a grizzled old Dwarf King or Slayer. Grumble Grudge Grumble. anyway Dwarf Characters- Gotrek Gurnisson, Grombrindal and Sifna Throrindottir (WIP) I realised I very unintentionally made a representation of the Ancestral Gods via my 3 WIP Characters - Gotrek/Grimnir, Grombrindal/Grungni, and Sifna Throrindottir/Valaya. What a bunch of miseries. These guys look terrific and I love that you're recreating the pantheon, dwarfs could do with some cosmic attention in the background!
Kronos
I’m making a beast of Burden for my Norscan Dwarf Contingent of mt Dwarfs and I’m entirely stumped on what exactly he should be carrying. So far I’ve considered - A Grudge Thrower. A Bolt Thrower. some sort of Anvil, A baggage and barrel Carrier so hes a Food, mead and Ale dispenser. A Runestone Bearer A Shrine of Valaya A Multiple Weapons Platform/Howdah A single Wild looking Dwarf.
Bolanferth
That is a fearsome beast, reminds me a bit of the old wood elf stag (the big metal one for a Lord mount) but looks more like an actual animal. It looks like it would wreck face - not familiar with dwarf rules so hard to say what it should be, maybe an Anvil (does that mean the runesmith whacks the antlers and gets a magical bonus?).
Kronos
@BolanferthThankd, No idea what he could work as but I don’t really so even if it wad just a dsiplay piece or even a unit filler I’d be ok. Back to adding some Characters - The beginnings of Krag the Grim and a one his Runesmith apprentices

Kronos
Ungrim Built Few tips for building the Slayer King for anyone unfamiliar with resin - Even though Ungrim was Only Six Pieces there were a few little challenges to build him. The Miniature is wuite small so a little extra care and patience needed to remove the Resin Nubs/Sprues. I recommend cuttingmost of the excess off with a pair of fine clippers and then progressively removing until you get a flush and seamless cut. If you going too hard and too quick you can remove too much resin. The second challenge was his hands, not particularly difficult only that the handle almost feels like its too long and needs a little extra push and a partial bend to actually join the forearms. The last one had me a bit stumped for ages, which Horn goes on which side. The Simple answer is one Horn has a joint angled as Square, the other is angeled as a Diamond. I reccomend lots and lots of Dryfitting before going anywhere with glue. Hope this helps.

Kronos
we’ve had Dwarfs Yes, but what about Second Dwarfs? Bigger Hate, Bigger Horns, and Bigger Attitude - Building alongside my Dwarfs are my Chaod Dwarfs which I’ve had in stasis for nearly 4 years. But Recently got an Itch to restart them. This is the Most recent addition to ehat Is otherwise a Fairly Modest army so far joining Drazhoath and 10 Infernal Guard - A very very Early Astragoth Ironhand, with a reimagined Warframe. 2
Kronos
Astragoth Ironhand with Anvil of Gloom. Some More on Astragoth Ironhand- His Anvil of Gloom. Early Days. On it and pre sculpting. Need some neat bitz for Runes and details. Had a thought that if Astragoth is going to be on foot then he needs to put those legs and hands to work.
Kronos
Some Progress of Astragoth Ironhand and his Anvil of Gloom. (WIP) I got round to getting the Hammer mostly done, the Head still needs sculpting, and went for something a little more arcane for the handle - A Haft made of Smoke and Ash! It is the Blavk Hammer of Hashut after all. The Head has finally arrived (Hthark is a gorgeous sculpt but the body was a questionable cast).
Kronos
Harridan Whirlwind Champion Here’s What I’m doing with my Left over Hthark Body. - Chaos Dwarf Kine Centaurs. Pulling several tidbits of Lore to make a female centaur Unit that serve ad devout Guards to The Sorcerer Prophets of Hashut. I’ll be giving her some horns, a Chest Plate and most importantly some spinning chains with hammers and axes.
