The Painting Contract - July 2022

Recommended Posts

Hello folks and welcome to the Painting Contract for July 2022.

If you don't know the rules they are:

Each month you post an amount of models that you agree to try to paint/build/convert/sculpt. This can be terrain or models for Age Of Sigmar, Warcry, Blood Bowl, Blitz Bowl, Dungeon Bowl, Warhammer Underworlds, Warhammer Quest, Gorechosen, or HeroQuest

On the 28th of the month the contract closes and you can then post your progress images so that they can be critiqued, shared and boasted about. It is a great way to get involved in the community and to get inspiration.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress!

was work on an undivided chaos army and now with a new Ogyr army.
this is my 6th unit so far.
And will try to have him complete for this month

My 5 others are lurking in the background lol

Finished up a full NMM painbringer.

Work being fairly busy made it quite slow, but I started on my painbringer too, albeit with a less lofty painting approach. I’m going to have to change the colours of the gems as red just isn’t doing it for me!

Warsong revent built. I need to start his base this evening. Without a doubt, this was the best and most enjoyable miniature to build from the Sylvaneth range so far. Only bit of criticism is that it's very difficult to keep it as a sub-assemby because of how tight the pieces fit. I've kept the body separate, but I suspect I will have a bit of touch-ups to do when assembling it at the end.

I'm going to start building the treelord this weekend. I know this one isn't going to be quite as enjoyable.
