Rend 4
If Skarbrand was not wounded at the start of his hero phase you select a single ability. If he is then wounded in the opponents turn by let's say 10 wounds. Does the damage table apply from those 10 wounds when he attacks back, or from what it was at the start of his hero phase? Herald of Chaos
His rule states that in each of your hero phases you look on the damage table and then choose the rage abilities, so you don't get any changes when he attacks back.
Rend 4
But you do still get the extra attacks based on his wounds right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought that Skarbrand's attacks and Carnage roll were tied to his rage! Well that will make things a bit more interesting moving forward. Herald of Chaos
The amount of attacks Skarbrand gets with slaughter change as he takes damage as it does with most large monsters, the only difference here is that Skarbrand gets more instead of less when damaged. The roll for carnage is also used off the table when he uses that weapon, which is in each combat phase. The level of rage is relevant to the Skarbrand's rage ability which states it works in each hero phase.
Aspirant Snaeper
Yes, I understand. I recently played a game with him and did not take into account the attacks and total carnage being separate. Now that I look at his warscroll, I feel ashamed to have not realized it. Oh well. Wolden Spoons
Man a whole topic on my favourite Demon and I nearly missed it. Sadly I have nothing else to add except keep him out of combat turn one, enjoy on turn two.
Arkiham
Try keep him in range of a bloodsecrator banner or two, 3 hits with carnage kills anything.
Nico
I love the fact that people get excited about Skarbrand and the 50% of massed Gunline lists are just laughing their heads off at his 4+ save, with their anti-Chaos and anti-Daemon weapons.
