Technically should finish off the next unit of 5 for my pledge but I randomly woke up with an urge to paint a Mortek Guard the other day so ordered one off eBay... Lavieth Posted January 17, 2022 Share Posted January 17, 2022 Sorry for the poor quality pictures. I have finished 5 spite-revenants. First unit is now 10 strong. 5 more to build to make it 2 units of 10. I used the dark aelf executioner heads to give them a spookier vibe. Dryads just need base rims and stones painted. Got now 31 Slaanesh models built (feels weird with the random hanger on from the archers) and almost to my 1k start. 10 Daemonettes from a different project in the background. Nothing exciting, just crates and computers supplied by Weyland Yutani. I think I got a nice yellow. Some fiddly stuff, lots of fragile bits, but I am moving forward with time to spare. Got my 1k list barring some small addition, and a small start to my summoning pool in the back there. Nirvana Posted January 28, 2022 Share Posted January 28, 2022 I didn't post a picture, but I exceeded my initial expectations for painting models. With my "New Year, New Army", I chose Maggotkin because I like their elite play style. So for month 1, I painted up: 20 plague bearers, 10 Blight Kings, a Scrivner, a Poxbringer, and Festus. Next month, it will be bigger stuff. I'm planning to build and paint the following next month: 3 drones, 3 nurglings, 2 Pusgoyles, and a Lord of Blights. My stretch will be a Gnarlmaw too, if I can find one. Not sure why but I've never painted an army this fast. I saw some videos on glazing and just went for it! I'm going to go back to my Soul Blight after I finish Nurgle.
