The speculation is if that the reveal is for us. Some people around here argued that they had done paired reveals for us and the stormcasts, so if that logic follows we would get a reveal to pair with the dragon riders. They talk about the spell lore but don't make clear if he know all the spells or just the one you can pick for the starting enchantment. If the Big wag still has a bonus to cast by using wag points, I bet they will probably get none. How everyone feels about our range? I'm honestly all for it. With boltboyz being a battleline option in yellers and the new spells already revealed I'm still completely happy to play this army. The new interaction between the sneaky miasma and the mount trait smelly un is nice as it gets you into fighting range without sacrificing the -1 to hit. I'm really curious to know how kruleboyz will play. I think that magic will only be used as support (unless there is subfaction or whatever with +2 or +3 to cast). I don't think that we are going to take down Teclis/Lumineth, Kroak or Nagash. Shooting army can work with boltboyz and the ballista+lot's of shamans, but I get bored only thinking about it. Monster-smash seems possible too, with movement tricks (spells) and we have a lot of them. Thinking of it, they fit, both visually (even if not perfectly) and thematically. They would not even be the first unit to be shared among battletomes (the giant is a prime exemple in this regard). I was expecting a little more spell prowess, not necessarily comparable to the lord of change that this fella bested. But at least a stronger profile than what was released. I thought for sure they would get at least +1 to casting/unbinding (though maybe still possible?) with 2 spells to cast I’m worried we’re going to see GW in it’s all mighty wisdom dull out a 1 unbind maybe I was wrong to jump to the conclusion that gobsprakk bested a lord of change through spells but as it is now he had done it with his staff 🤣 I’m hoping that the full warscroll will be more enticing as we still yet to see the full combat profile and perhaps abilities/command abilities. A spell that is identical to the shamans, while it is a great spell, is rather disappointing seeing as the swampcalla shaman already does it - Generally speaking I am not a fan of copy paste from one model onto another. The other spells I’m cool with. I’m still being hopeful that in the end this fabulous model will be one worth picking up because my lord do I love this thing aesthetically and would sure love to include it in a list. just curious to see everyone else thoughts because I’m not feeling the excitement myself or from what I can see in other posts...
