With the Warhammer Fest coming up I tought we might have a fun little round of speculations! Let us share in this thread our speculations and hopes for the upcoming Warhammer week so we can all look back in a week or two and compare who had the best prophetic visions!

Saturday : Trailer and boxes of AoS V3.0. Mongol orcs vs SCE and human Order of Azyr.

Here my humble contribution :

 

• Monday AoS : Final and complete reveal for Soulblight (maybe Kragnos mini and teaser for AoS 3rd/stormcast ?)
• Tuesday 40k : Full reveal for Adepta Sororitas (or Orks)
• Wenesday Black Library : absolutely no idea ^^
• Thursday Boxed Games : Idoneth Deepkin warband for Underworlds and Delaque expansion for Necrumunda
• Friday 40k : Full reveal for Orks (or Adepta Sororitas)
• Saturday Mystery : Restart for Horus Heresy with new starter set, plastic kits, etc (or AoS 3rd announcement ? Pleaaaaase  )

 

I hope so much for little tidbits for AoS 3rd but i think it's unfortunately too early (especially with some still unknown BR stuff). I cross fingers hard to be wrong !

• Monday: Remainder of the Soulblight. Kragnos + anything else that's meant to be in BR: Kragnos we've not seen.
• Tuesday: Remainder of the Sisters releases/codex, most if not all of the Beast Snaggas.
• Wednesday: At least another Siege of Terra reveal, more Warhammer Crime, assorted titles otherwise.
• Thursday: Idoneth for Underworlds, Delaque for Necromunda, Traitor Legios for Titanicus, team for Blood Bowl, maybe another Warcry warband?
• Friday: Another campaign book, another Primaris'ed character, Eldar and Genestealer blister and their codex covers.
• Saturday: Bretonnian vs Tomb King starter 3.0 starter set/Indomitus-style box reveal but almost nothing ruleswise that hasn't already been leaked.

Ok. Here goes.

Monday:

Soul light full reveal, Broken Realms Kragnos and Kragnos mini (Kragnos is related to the Silent people not Kurnothi), Broken Realms Grodrakk with new Orruk minis (I just want this to be true), Stormcast and grot tease. 

Tuesday:

Full reveals for Sisters and Beast Snaggas, new campaign book.

Wednesday:

New dawn of fire book, next in Seige series, a new Warhammer crime novel, not much for AoS except a new edition tie in novel which will be announced on Saturday. 

Thursday:

Idk underworlds warband and season 5 tease, Delaque for Necromunda, Aeronautica Eldar planes, new warcry expansion, first cursed city expansion

Friday:

New lictor, new genestealer unit, large scale Eldar revamp, Black Templar primaris.

Saturday:

AoS 3.0 and new Horus Heresy starter set

I really really hope they do a mongol orruk hobgoblin army I would jump right into the deep end for that.  
I have a feeling the first one for AoS is going to be the rest of the soulblight and perhaps the kragnos model.  Feels just like yesterday that Soul Wars came out hahah

I am actually dreading the inevitable coming of AoS 3rd. I do not trust GW to only look at mechanics that need fixing, I fear they will also try to fix rules that aren't broken and end up adding as much flaw severity as they remove. I have a nagging concern that 2nd edition will be looked back upon as the golden age or the good ole days, a high point rather than a step on the road forward.

Monday: Kragnos (list of factions and one more big model), Soulblight (new stuff that’s actually new and not just resculpts), a 1v1 box set, scenes from the next episode of Broken Realms (will Goku make it in time to save the Z-Fighters?). This will be a 3.0 tease, but next to no new models.

Tuesday: AdMech, Sisters, Orks, War Zone Charadareadingdong part two.

Wednesday: Books, TV Shows

Thursday: Blood Bowl Team, Delaque 2nd Box, Cawdor 2nd Box, Neutral Characters for Necromunda, Titanicus Release, Aeronautica Release, something new?

Friday: Either new army or new releases for another existing Xenos faction. Next narrative setup, and another 1v1 box that will sell out in 5 minutes.

Saturday: Horus Heresy relaunch or other new game (like Epic). Not AoS 3.0 (that hype train starts in early June)

Monday: Soulblight remaining reveals. Big vampire mostrosity, foot vampires, dire wolves, bats, and spells. Also the reveal of BR: Kragnos cover, with Kragnos himself. Rumour forums melt in anger as we get Kragnos' grand alliance revealed.

Tuesday: Sisters of Battle. Codex reveal + some additional sisters. Beastsnaggas.

Wednesday: New books, Horus Heresy, some AoS, some 40k, etc. Rampant speculation on the AoS tie-in novel.

Thursday: More on the House of Faith, Idoneth Warband, new Blood Bowl Team for chaos dwarves, Warcry voodoo chaos goblins.

Friday: Previews for the next 3 codex cycle, including Eldar who are finally getting more plastic aspect warriors and the exodite subfaction.

Saturday: Warhammer 40.000 Live Action movie about Rogue Traders.

No, we'll see the Indomitus-style box before we see the regular starter boxes.

Followed by questions if 3.0 won't have starter boxes anymore because of this.

I'd love to see mongol orc and goblins again,

It used to be a thing in the days of 1st edition warhammer, and the hobgoblins were more samurai in appearance.

Sir needs to check out the very early citadel  Nick Lund Chronicle range of miniatures.  Nick was the pioneer of that mongol style.

I'm 50-50 for everything on each day. Honestly, it just came down to not knowing how far they were predicting things out (Maybe 2 months tops). So let's retool:

Not doing too bad so far. Successfully guessed Kragnos, Soulblight, sisters, 40k campaign book, Seige of Terra, Warhammer crime and the lack of AoS novels. 

If anything one of the more disappointing elements of Warhammer fest is how predictable it has been so far. Hoping for some genuine surprises in the last few days.

Well my Friday guess was 100% wrong, mostly because I thought they would do Orks on Tuesday.

Let me put my position another way: If I'm wrong we have our 3.0 reveal. If I'm right, we have something completely new, and 3.0 gets revealed in two weeks anyway.
