jkav86
Hey guys, I have recently been gifted with one of the army painter mega paint sets, the 50 paint one. So, it all looks cool, and the idea of dropper bottles sounds interesting, but I'm not sure how to start. Is there anything I should know first? How do they compare to the GW paints that I usually would use. Thanks for any helps!
celebrandas
Army Painter paints are generally decent overall, in my experience. The washes are nice equivalents to GW, if not 1:1. Some paints are a little rough, but generally they have pretty good coverage. The only real issue I had with the ones I used was a lot of separation in the bottle, but a good trick if you have a paint rack or some sort of stand is to flip the bottle upside down for 15-30 minutes, then shake it really well. That usually re-mixes it pretty well.
