Plauge Drone Flying stand problem

Good morning gents,

I've recently been putting together a box of those beautiful plauguedrone models and I've found that when following the instructions for the banner bearer the model it's so close to the ground (even with the longest flying stand) there is no room to put the stinger in his tail.

Does anyone know what has caused this?  Have I built it wrong?  Do I have the wrong flying stand in the box? 

If not, does anybody have a workaround?

Ok, so that is the correct stand then is it? 

Seems way too small for the model.

Yeah it's a pain to work around. I was using liquid resin on my bases, so used that to get a little extra height before adding the stands. (Then adding more resin after)

Hmm... weird. I do remember it touching after I finished basing but i believe there was still room for the stinger. You should be good just building it, worst case it touches the base and pushes the model up a touch. You can still glue everything together without issue.

Yeah I bought new stands that were a bit taller and still had one touching the base with it's stinger. It's the one in the left ur doing. I glued the stinger on as well.

I bought some clear plastic rods that are 3' long. I simply cut them to the desired lengths. No more issues.
