Ok..... I've searched and can't find the answer. If this has been answered before, sorry to bring it up again....

That being said, here's the question:

If I give a shrine a particular mark, is that the only gift that can be prayed for? I.e. Mark of Khorne gets Khorne buff only or can it have a mark and the prayer used is determined by the target units mark?

I don't use it often, but I want to be sure I'm using it correctly when I do bring it.

The shrine buff is determined by the Mark it carries. Then you give that buff to any valid unit (Slaves to Darkness). IF that unit also has the same mark as your shrine, there is an added beneficial effect taking place.
