A mix of stage 1 and 2 on this guy, and some colors are not blocked in yet, as you can see. I got my four heroes done: a Guardian Of Souls, Knight Of Shrouds, Lord Executioner and a Spirit Of Torment. After I got those done, I cranked out 3 more Spirit Hosts and 5 more Grimghast Reapers. Hi all Some other hobby came in (some Arduinos) and had some unexpected BBQs so I almost finished my original pledge. I completed the Harrows, 2 buildings from the mausoleum (that was the idea), finished my son's Treelord Ancient (what a nightmare of branches) and completed 5 chainrasps, with another 5 in progress but not completed. Apart from these bits of the original pledge, I've completed the buildings with their bases, and helped my son with the cleanup of the base coats and shading of his 2 Sequitors. I'll teach him how to hightlight them next month, so they are wip. So I've worked the amount I wanted, but diverged a bit from the plan. Lowki Posted June 30, 2020 Share Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) Ok officially beyond the deadline, but hope it is ok to share my results for this months after all (and not be disqualified for the next round ;)) I had three objectives: 1. finish the black coach, excluding the base (that will be next month) 2. Finish dreadblade Harrows 3. built and prime a unit of 10 Grimghast Reapers I completed my main objective, more or less because to be honest I still have to do some repairs. The last stage of attaching the horses to the coach didn't go as smooth as I expected. Things fell apart, and some joints became quiet messy from the glue, melted plastic and paint. But ok after some blood sweat and tears, and things you shouldn't teach your children I finally managed to put it together. Apart from the base (and fixing the messy joints) I also have the alternative driver left. I think I will try the blue scheme from the harrow as suggested by @TheWilddog (by the way thanks everyone for the input, much appreciated) I failed to complete the Dreadblade Harrows. One is finished (but to be honest that was already 80% done at the start of the month), but the other one is pretty much untouched. I do have a bonus Banshee to make up (a bit) for the unfinished Harrow. The previosu attempt to paint the Myrmourn Banshees became a rather frustrating mess, and I never was really happy with the final result. So I bought a new unit (with the warcry warband) and gave it another try. Think this one looks already much better. Apart from that I did my 3rd objective by building and priming a unit of Grimghast Reapers. No time left to start painting them though. I'll bear it in mind if I attempt to join in again on the painting contract, but I'm probably going to go for a palette cleanser with some 40K in July. Anyway, here's June's results - a big chunk of my OBR army done. It's Petrifex Elite colours... don't hate me, I don't play competitively. AND I AM TOTALLY NOT SAYING THAT BECAUSE I AM LATE TO THE POSTING OF MY STUFF! Also, it totally still counts as June 30th, because I haven't slept yet, which is how the day ACTUALLY ends... Skreech Verminking Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 So I was a bit busy with painting, and although I didn’t really pledge anything, I was able to paint a unit of 10 Night runners, 39 Skryre Acolytes, 40clanrats and a Prismatic palisade endless spell. the last few thing I have to get done are a single acolyte and another 10Nightrunners. kaaras Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 So, I managed a @flemingmma and did at least one model, not any of the ones I pledged though. 40K gots its claws in and I am working on some models for my Ynnari, so finished 1 Aeldari Guardian. Not squad, just 1. I did build 5 Wraithguard and 4 Saurus Knights, which is the start of my next big project, a Seraphon display board of all Saurus. Well, almost.
