EccentricCircle
My D&D group long ago decided that a Half elf half dwarf is called a "Dwelf". D&D doesn't have rule s for that either, but we homebrewed a profile for one player who wanted to play one!
Baron Klatz
So I guess it'd be Duaelf in the realms (or maybe just Dualf to play on the "dual" part there for the mixed race.) Although you wouldn't have that much shooting, nor flying at all, it could be an interesting list idea. I really like that idea. Theme-wise they go together well because of the realms of fire & light having elements of heat, energy and illumination(this is what causes a Flesh-Eater Court sub-faction in Aqshy to worship the realm of light as a higher plane of purified heat) so they'd mesh well. It's the narrative interbreeding part that'd get interesting. Both are magical beings with god-blood running through their veins. The fires of Grimnir that give Fyreslayers their inner fire making them breath flame and smoke when flustered enough while Lumineth are light beings who have that illumination pouring out of them constantly as they light up the night. (That's not even counting how both are dependent on magic stones in their bodies. The addictions of Ur-gold and Aetherquartz) I'd think a Dualf from such a union would actually veer between the two depending on their personality. Brash and energetic causing fire to run through their veins and Aqshy magic to be second nature to them while geomantic spirits bound to them like the mountain spirits would take on fiery characteristics to where a gathered army will cause them to erupt. Studious and curious would have Teclis' light run through them instead and bring a calm and serene light to those around them and make things like unions with Magmadroths crystalize their volcanic scales into dazzling arrays of crystals. The rare few that can contain both light and fire blood would be heroic legends among their peoples.
