Martin87
Hi I'm building a verminlord corrupted but I prefer the head from the verminking is it alright to use this? Can I still use it in games workshop if I do?
1 Overread
Welcome to the forums The main difference with the Verminlords is the weapons they have more than anything else. Provided that its armed with the weapons listed on its profile then you'll be fine no matter which head you choose.
0 TheCovenLord
I don't believe there is any official restriction other than it requires the parts to be GW in origin for some tournaments. Conversions are usually allowed as long as they are recognizable as the model they represent. For me the silhouette by the proper weapon arms/weapons really sets the verminlords apart rather than the heads so in our group I would easily allow it. Any former TO's that can weigh in maybe? 0 Lord Krungharr
Yes, so long as the weapons are identifiably correct, then head could be anything really, even a big skull from the skulls kit. The important thing is for the opponent to not get confused about what they are facing, and usually it's the weapons and the wargear that makes the confusion (like having a Daemon Prince with a sword but calling it an axe; that's a no-no). I TO'd for a few small 40k tournaments back in 6th-7th edition, and there was way too much proxy-hammer going on!
