For my part, I dislike the horned Helmets. They feel awkward and disproportionate. I don't like replacing the faces either. My thought is similar to the above of trying to use the helms without the icon (either as is, add greenstuff to point etc) but still use the icons. 

However, instead of mounting the horns on the helm, im going to see if they can be mounted either across the back of their shoulders or on a single shoulder pauldron

I figured I'd post an actual picture of the Stoneguard with the cow heads removed, for people who were considering it. There's a little rim that goes most of the way around the helmet, below the cow neck, which makes it a pretty straightforward job. These ones need a little cleaning up but I think I like how it makes the helmets resemble their hammers.

Thanks for the photos!  And yeah.... with that mod, they bare a striking resemblance!  The Alarith Hammer Heads anyone?

And speaking of Pauldrons...  are you using a mould for the lions, or sculpting them by hand?  Cause that's some mad skills right there!  They look great.  I also like these helmets as a mod.  Some really cool ideas here!

I used some "Greenstuff worlds - Blue Stuff"

It is a hot water mold that I used with my old White lion chariot shoulders. Just need to cutting down and repairing and they work well

Wow. I just got some Blue Stuff. Looks like it works really well.  I also have some green stuff and milliput to try as a sculpting material.

Just for other people, this product is basically exactly the same as oyumaru, which you can find on other stores if shipping from GSW is an issue (Spain to US can take awhile, while oyumaru is available on Amazon).
