Desolater
Hey, I’m curious if any of you have found good ways of changing the general stance of Sequitors. I’m onto my next set of them and don’t want clones upon clones. any help appreciated
Vakarian
I've been able to achieve some variety in pose just by gluing the weapon arms and/or the torsos at different angles, but I strongly recommend you dry-fit pieces before committing because sometimes shoulder pauldrons won't fit once if you've altered the angle too radically. If you're confident in your modeling abilities, it isn't too hard to clip and switch weapons between different arms (swap a mace for a sword, or vice versa, so you have the pose of the other arms you aren't using). NauticalSoup
You can manage a lot with putty. The big space marine shoulders conceal the upper arm so the shoulder join doesn't have to be perfect since it'll be covered up from every angle but below. Desolater
Cheers, don’t suppose any photos of examples laying around?
Vakarian
Here’s a few quick shots of simple reposes. The first (the dude with mace and shield) has his arm angled differently. You can see how the shoulder pad has less contact because of the new angle. The second and third are the same model with great mace, the torso is just angled differently. Desolater
Cheers for the ideas, I like the great mace ones especially. Good paint job too 👍
Vakarian
Thank you! Liberator Gold undercoat spray does the lion’s share of the work.
CommissarRotke
I was able to get some decent variety by moving the heads as well; you have to clip the ETB sequitor heads a bit so they don't stick on the body nob, but I felt like even just having their head a different way helped prevent super clone-y look Edited January 31, 2020 by CommissarRotke
