KratosvonCarstein Posted September 9, 2020 Share Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) I am certainly hoping for more kits but considering the special character is the leftmost variant (pic below) of the gargant already revealed I think the following: The middle one looks to have some chaos bits (see loincloth)/mutations so would work for a chaos special character gargant. The right one have an executioner hood, gravestone and skulls, so would work great as a death inspired gargant special character. That would mean 3 mercenary special characters for order/destruction, chaos and death, totalling 8 warscrolls in the battletome (if nothing new is revealed or a special character for SoB isn't released). What do you think? There was a time (until 5. Edition 40k) where Forgeworld units were included into the codex (or GW added units that didn't have a model) later, only units were included that had models (because of third party model companies). At least since then GW never included Forgeworld units or equipment into the book. We already see that Gloomspite Gitz didn't include the Squig Gobba, Colossal Squig or Troggoth Hag and Orruk Warclans doesn't include the Rogue Idol. In the article there is a single sentence at the bottom about the article, saying they will he taking a GIANT look at the Sons. I had thought that the Audio Book cover could've also been the BT cover but I dont think there has been a precedent for it before? I would say if they are different (fingers crossed they are for variety) that the only thing they may have in common are the angles or at least perspective of a Mortal standing against the Sons.
